Kettle & Toaster Man Graded Product Specialist

I purchased a Tower Air Fryer which was about 20% less than elsewhere. I understood that this was a graded product, but thought i would give it a go. I called and they answered which was good. I ordered and it came the next day even though i paid for standard delivery. You could tell the item had been opened previously as it wasn't all in the correct place, packing tape had been removed. The instructions were missing, as was one silicone mitt, however these were not deal breakers as i downloaded the instructions. Plugged it in for the recommended trial 15min. Seemed to be ok but there was no heat, tried different settings and no luck. This was a faulty item, so these items don't seem to be checked for contents or tested which is a shame. Called them and arranged for a return and refund. I dropped it off at the post office the same day, and it arrived back with them the next morning. I chased the refund the next day and this was processed. I think this is just hit and miss, you may get a good 'second' product, but don't expect it to be 'as new' or tested/checked. Bit of a gamble which didn't pay off for me. But they answered the phone and dealt with the problem in reasonable time so that was positive. I think this is a fair review of my experience.

I bought a product from them a while ago. After a couple of months it developed a fault. I got in touch with them and they immediately offered to replace it. When I returned it they no longer had that product in stock but offered a fancier alternative as a replacement for free. Really impressed with the service!

Ordered a new Swan microwave and was impressed with how quickly it came. I had a few issues paying and ended up with duplicate orders, but they were very helpful and gave me an immediate refund. Would highly recommend this company.

Ordered 4 items, one in good condition, one old and faded but working.Two items (this is 50% of the order) in a completely destroyed state. customer service is rude.I have not been able to get my money or product back.Strongly do not recommend.

Lots of products at fair prices, helpful and friendly staff

Based on the product sent to me avoid this company. If it’s too good to be true it probably is. Shame on me for trusting this ‘specialist’. Specialist in supplying sub standard product, not tested and potential dangerous goods. I knew it was a graded appliance but expected to arrive in good working order with perhaps, a few cosmetic scratches and tatty box. I purchased a beldray clean and dry hard floor cleaner. Their testing protocol must have been turn it on; does it make a noise? Yes it did, from the residual battery power but soon stopped. I assumed it just needed charging. So I plugged it in only to find the dc adapter just slopped in and out of the power inlet - clearly broken see 3rd photo. After 5 attempts to call them they finally answered and to be fair offered to replace or refund and sent me a postage returns label. I decided to open the unit myself to see what was going on. The electrical connections were completely disconnect which, if touching could have caused a short and thus, start a fire. You can also see how dirty the internal unit was. It’s obvious this has not been fully tested as claimed. Also the water feed did not work because the pin to release the water was broken and not sufficient to engage the valve. So if you want a broken electrical item, not tested, that you could have bought from a dodgy car boot sale then buy from these cowboys. If you want a product that is safe and fit for purpose then spend the extra and buy new. Lesson learnt. Having fixed it and made it electrically safe I kept the unit rather than get another iffy replacement. Other reviews suggest getting refunds was difficult. The good reviews must have been from customers who spun the wheel and got lucky with a second hand item that was not tested properly, if at all, but was ok. Don’t take the chance, a house fire isn’t worth a seemingly bargain.

Brought the incorrect heaters, but the lady who sorted the refund couldn't have been more helpful, and got it processed very quickly. Great customer service, will return again.

Emailed me to say my parcel was arriving at 4/5.Waited home all day and cancelled plans, and still didn't come.Very disappointed.
