From beginning to end, our experience with Ross, the owner and our guide for our nearly two weeks in Scotland was perfect. From our initial, exploratory discussion surrounding our potential itinerary for the four of us, to the completion of our 'Wish List of things to See/Do' nothing was missed!Ross suggested a number of things and events we would have missed given we had no local knowledge. Our day at the Braemore Gathering (think Highland Games) with all the competition and the over the top Scottish culture, dancing, bagpipes and even a visit by the King and Queen and Princess Anne made our day! Whiskey tastings, sightseeing all over the country, great recommendations as to where to eat and what to eat were fabulous.I found the costs to travel with Your Scotland Tour to be very much in line with or better than other tour groups that saw much less, spent fewer days and certainly never had the running commentary from their Guide as to culture, history, politics, and more. I recommend Your Scotland Tour highly!

Wow what a trip! All I can say is if your debating whether or not to book with Your Scotland tours, leave your doubts behind and take the step. Ross was the best tour guide we have had - We are experienced travelers and have been on many many tours all over the world semi privet but mostly privet tours. I have to say Ross put together an excellent trip.I did my due diligence as always, for Scotland I was interviewing 3 tour groups. Ross and I spoke several times and discussed what I wanted and did not want.I grew very comfortable with Ross through this process.Ross created a great custom tour for my wife and I.We all had the best time touring the country and enjoying the various scotch distillery's.Ross is very knowledgeable about the area and he is truly a whiskey sommelier.He gave us a combo historical tour and a scotch tour that was never to be duplicated...Well done Ross, my wife and I loved the tour. It was truly a pleasure to become friends on our time in Scotland your a credit to the industry.

YST provide unparalleled service and I recommend them in the highest possible way. Ross crafted and led a dream-come-true whisky adventure on Islay for me in March. He was communicative during the planning stage and had a genius suggestion to explore Kilmartin Glen on our way back to Edinburgh. Ross built a custom tour of the eastern coast of Scotland (Dundee to Abroath to Dundee to Inverness) for my husband and I in September of 2022 and it was absolutely perfect! Our guide was Gus and he took us to so many off the beaten track spots for Scotch tastings, wildlife, castles, food and music. Gus was a pleasure to travel with, so knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. I would give 10 stars if they were available!

Colin was our driver for a week tour of the Highlands. He was super friendly, informative (explaining the sites' history) and suggested alternative stops if the weather was not cooperating. We could not have had a better week - a better driver - a better all around trip. Ross (the owner) planned our 6 day trip, including site seeing, hikes, overnight accommodations and offered dining advice - all exceptional !! I would 100% recommend using this tour group !! We had a blast and I have a new Scottish friend in Colin.

‘Your Scotland Tour’ was the greatest decision we made for our recent trip to Scotland. Ross was extremely patient with us he adapted the interests of all members of our family into a feasible itinerary, which also included Scottish gems he recommended we see while visiting. During the trip we were lucky enough to have Ross as our driver and guide. We were impressed by not only his great driving, but his ability to avoid sheep and herd cows that got in our way. Ross provided a wealth of information on such things as tipping, restaurant recommendations and both the sites and history of places we saw along the way. Ross was adaptable with our itinerary when bad weather struck and was always prompt and communicative. We would love to travel with ‘Your Scotland Tour’ again sometime in the future.

Start to finish, the personal service this company provides is the best way to experience Scotland. We had the trip of a lifetime! No small feat of planning, Ross was patient, knowledgeable, and prompt while working with me to develop the 11-day itinerary. He stayed on top of travel changes and kept me informed over four months' time, adjusting the schedule and accommodations when necessary. The vehicle was top of the line, spacious, comfortable, cleaned daily. Our guide, Colin, is now part of the family lol. We were a bit nervous about spending so much of our vacation with someone we didn't know - would it be awkward, would we get along, etc. When it was over, we were sad to see him go. He was kind and engaging, knowledgeable and accommodating, funny and full of stories. He told us about the history of Scotland, specific information about the beautiful places we were visiting and passing through - things we would not have known had we been attempting to drive ourselves. As he learned the things we like, he researched nearby activities and locations we'd enjoy - opportunities we would have missed had we been traveling by bus tour. We were three generations of women travelers who'd never been to Europe. Colin made us feel safe and imparted his pride and love for his country such that we fell in love with it too. Every day was my favorite. Scotland is full of vibrant flowers and friendly people who don't shy from their past and who care about their future. It is rich with fascinating history and stunning natural beauty. I didn't expect it to be at the top of my list of favorite places. I am sure we would not have experienced it in this way, had such full days of wonder and fun and come away with such a deep appreciation, without the skill and attention of Your Scotland Tours. 15 out of 10 all day.

You could not have paired us with a better driver than Colin Morrison! Not only was he knowledgeable, timely, thoughtful and always thinking ahead, but we connected with him personally! He is a great person with vast knowledge and a positive outlook. We will miss Colin and talk of him often!!! Thank you again for all that you and Colin have done for us!We had Dave for one day and he was so awesome. Very knowledgeable and easy to visit with. He even detoured to a sheep stop for one of our passengers so she could pet sheep!
