I've been a customer of SSAV for some years now having bought items from the website, Loughborough branch and the sadly closed Lincoln store.My latest system was purchased from the Notts branch and the customer experience couldn't have been better.Simon and Sam were fantastic offering sound advice, set up tips, alternative products (always considering the brief and budget) and good humour throughout.Auditioned several items in a relaxed environment and once I'd made my selection held my items via deposit until a time that suits me.On collection Simon was great again giving me directions to the best pick up point and even trekked way beyond what is reasonably expected pushing a sack trolled loaded with kit when the local parking attendants tried to ruin my day.If you're in the market, you really should give this bunch a go.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very knowledgeable and approachable, excellent customer service, never once felt rushed to buy anything.The KEF LS50 wireless II speakers are absolutely brilliant and the deal with the stands was well worth visiting the store for. I popped into SS&V to see what they had in the way of ‘plug in speakers’. They did in fact, have quite a wide range! After a little while of browsing, I was approached by one of the sales team who enquired as to what I was looking for. They asked some technical questions about my amp which, I was unable to answer at that time so, they suggested that I email them some images of the amp so that they could do some research for compatibility and within budget. They came back the very next day with a few options and specified the appropriate cable.I now have a great set of Wharfedale floor standing speakers which sound amazing (even at louder settings). Without doubt, I’ll revisit them when I’m in the market for any separates replacements.

In the last few months, I've made three purchases from Sevenoaks Sound and Vision Nottingham. I'm a repeat customer because; the staff are friendly & knowledgeable, the product choice is good, prices are competitive with online sellers, extended warranties are comparable with John Lewis, and delivery can be arranged - although stock is often available to take away. Many sellers are strong in 1-2 areas, SSV is the complete package. We need to support stores in our city centres and I'm happy to support & recommend this company.

Excellent service from the moment we walked through the door! We had some ideas what we wanted to do but Simon make some excellent recommendations and gave us a demonstration of what to expect. He recommended an AV engineer to survey the room who came up with an optimum solution for hiding wires and equipment. The work was completed quickly and once we had finished decorating the Sony TV and REL and KEF speakers were fully installed and integrated with our existing amp, record deck and CD player.First class and thoroughly recommended.
