I was told about the cybersecurity training at Sycom by a friend when I indicated interest in career change. I had a chat about what was on offer with a member of the team and was impressed so I signed up in May 2023.The Comptia Security + curriculum was covered during the training with interactive labs. The training went a bit over the 12 weeks but that's because more areas was introduced (GRC sessions and SOC live sessions).All the facilitators were industry experts from banking, financial services, critical infrastucture, etc and had lots of real life scenarios/projects to share.I started applying around September. Had some interview preps and finally got an offer in SOC I was happy with in Novemeber 2023 (keen on remote role).If you are looking at switching careers into cyber security and ready to put in the required effort, then I can recomend Sycom as the place to go.
