Loving Baby Massage

I went to Loving Baby Massage with my daughter when she was 6 weeks old. We'd been finding the challenges of being a new parent overwhelming at times and she had really bad colic. Not only did Catherine provide the practical elements of baby massage but her natural nurturing personality, enthusiasm and knowledge for baby massage and empathy meant that the classes became a hugely important time for us. I went back to Catherine when my son was born and again the classes have been a really special time for us. I have continued to use the massage strategies with both of my children and look back at those classes as a really special time with my babies.

Simply the best! These massage techniques are really important for baby’s development, relaxation and bonding. Catherine is very warm and knowledgeable. She felt like a guide to me during my baby’s first months. Thank you!!

Catherine’s class was brilliant from the moment we walked in - I instantly felt relaxed, despite having a very unsettled baby! Highly recommend this course! Booked onto the 5 week course and it went much too fast. Not only does my baby love the massages and but it also has been a great opportunity for me to meet other mums in my area. Catherine is a lovely teacher and has made the class fun, accommodating for when the little ones are having a cry or a sleep, and is very knowledgable.

I highly recommend this course to anyone with a baby. Catherine is a fantastic teacher and makes everyone, parents and babies, feel really comfortable. My baby suffered with tummy problems and used to cry as soon as she got tired and before sleep so I was nervous about going places, however, Catherine made it really easy and comfortable and made sure that we got a lot out of the session no matter what the timing with feeding, napping, cring, ect.Baby massage also really helped with the tummy problem and to calm my baby generally.

I have just completed Catherine’s 5 week course of baby massage and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Catherine made us both feel so comfortable, which as a father I really appreciated, and it was a lovely bonding experience! Arthur particularly loves the “tiger in the tree” hold which I use everyday! Thanks Catherine!

AMAZING CLASS! I highly recommend Catherine and Loving Baby Massage to everyone with a baby! Catherine is very knowledgable and skilled as well as being incredibly kind and calming- for parents and babies alike! Her course of baby massage is very well taught, by the end of the classes I felt very confident with all of the techniques shown. I have also picked up so many tips on how to manage reflux, wind etc which I use on a daily basis. Baby massage is a lovely skill to learn, it has strengthened my bond with my baby and I am sure it is something that we will continue to do together as he loves it so much! Thank you Catherine x

This course was brilliant! After a different baby massage class I had attended, Catherine was far more knowledgeable and personable than the other class (which was way more expensive!) Catherine’s class was welcoming, there plenty of space in the room, the temperature of the room was perfect for babies and there was time to catch up and chat at the end (for a new mum this is sometimes a necessity). Catherine gave us advice on not only massage, but general ‘new mum’ questions we had, and I felt really comfortable asking her for help and advice. I would highly recommend this course; lovely bonding with your baby and skills to use forever! Thanks Catherine, you’re great.

Catherine is so knowledgeable about the best and safest way to massage your baby. The classes use a step-by-step method and Catherine is always happy to answer any questions you may have. It’s such a relaxed environment and a lovely opportunity to meet other parents and share stories and advice. I’ve been for both of my children and they have loved the classes!

A truly wonderful class. Catherine is so lovely and welcoming. A very relaxed class. Catherine provides an easy to follow guide to massage and is always happy to answer any questions you may have about massage or other aspects of motherhood.My daughter and I really enjoyed our five weeks at Loving Baby Massage, we met some lovely mums and babies and have all stayed in touch since. I would definitely recommend this course.
