The Costa Coffee on Leven High Street is a typical Costa Coffee shop outwardly indistinguishable from Amy other coffee shop in the chain.As such it would deserve 3 stars, maybe 2 stars for the company's tax avoiding activities.But... The staff in this particular shop lift it firmly up to 5 stars for their caring attitude and their willingness to go the extra mile to help customers.In the hour I spent there I witnessed 3 distinct and significant acts of kindness and assistance from the staff (in particular a blond haired young man) any of which went far beyond his job description.It has changed my perception of Costa for the better.

Great that Costa is available in Leven and as always love the coffee and the relaxed atmosphere. Like to go on a Sunday afternoon. Only downside is the majority of the chairs are on tables at 3.30pm when the shop closes at 7.00pm???? It makes you feel that you have to rush away. Disadvantage and disincentive to go.

New to Leven, Costa is much the same as any of their other branches. Although this particular one is much quieter than others.Nice and clean, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service.Great coffee as expected.

Staff getting pretty stressed with managing Track & Trace. There was an individual A5 blackboard easel advertising Luxury Fruit Toast so I ordered some. I was told it hadn't been available for some time due to supply issues. I suggested they take the sign down and I was told that if they took the sign down that they would have to take all the signs down which made exactly no sense at all. Not a great visit. If I wanted to be snapped at, I'd have had a coffee at home with the wife!

Quick service, decent enough coffee, friendly service. Unfortunately didn't get my 2 free beans on the app for my reusable cup take out coffee. Please ensure your staff are adequately trained on the normal vs green bean rewards.

Top class customer service. Very efficient staff at all levels. Clean and tidy both in table and toilet area. I would recommend to both local and visiting customers.

The place is filthy .. the chairs are stained and disgusting, if I go into Costa where my daughter works at next its spotless...won't be going back ...Starbucks from now on .

First time in this recently opened branch on Thursday 2/2/2017. Staff friendly and helpful. They offered the new blend which was lovely.Went back again today to get out of the rain. Same excellent service.

First time in this shop. Poor service, bland surroundings. My partner had a chocolate orange coffee. They had not had a milk delivery yet, so the girl said you can have it without the frothy top bit, so it was a normal coffee with a choc orange sweet on the side(still charged the same money) . This was at peak time(12.30pm on a Sat).Shop was empty with only two other customers(this is why) . No heart and sole put into coffee experience, no fancy sprinkles on the top. Still paid £7.50 for two coffees we could have had at home. We definately won't be back again.
