I completed the Coast to Coast about 2 weeks ago, and I used Sherpa Van for our B&B/Inn bookings and luggage transport. Sherpa was SO easy to work with, and all bookings and transports were perfect. This was our 3rd attempt at the C2C (cancellations due to Covid), so I worked with Sherpa on my itinerary 3 years in a row. Service was consistent and personnel very easy to work with. I would use them again without hesitation.

If I could give Sherpa Van 10 stars, I would. I traveled from the States to walk the Dales Way, and from the outset, as I worked with them via email to schedule the transfers, everything went perfectly. My bags were always waiting for me, no matter where along the Way I was stopping for the day. I am grateful to Sherpa Van for making this adventure possible. I surely couldn't have done the Dales Way without them!

Booked for accommodation and baggage transfer on The Dales Way walk. Unfortunately, my bag wasn’t at the first night’s accommodation when I arrived. It appeared to have been forgotten/overlooked and was eventually delivered by taxi. Mid-way along the route a host charged more for the accommodation than was confirmed. I didn’t argue as she was quite stressed and for some reason, unaware whether I was coming or not. I took up the latter point with Sherpa Van. Sadly no proper response other than to say my email had been passed onto another person in the office. No response and emails sent since have been ignored.

Entirely unimpressed with this baggage service. I have used other providers on other point-to-point walks, always with great success. Unfortunately, I found Sherpavan to be both relatively unresponsive and inordinately expensive. Cost more on my walking trip to transport my bag than it did for my entire airfare home to the US. Recommend booking elsewhere.

We used Sherpavan for our Hadrians Wall walk in Sep 22. They confirmed our walk details ahead of the trip - then we packed and left our cases - and each day they arrived at the next location - staff at B&B's and hotels en route praised their approach. A job well done.

Have used the company to transfer bags along Hadrians wall and the Dales Way, as we walked along them.The website was easy to use and plan out the itineraries. The communication from them was good as well.Once on the trails, our bags always arrived safely and in the right place with no trouble or hassle.I will be using them again for other walking routes they cover, when I do them. I would definitely recommend them.

We hired Sherpa Van to ferry our luggage during a 4 day hike of the Herriot Way in Yorkshire Dales. Everything went flawlessly. The drivers are friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

Sherpa Van were allocated to us by our travel company to move our luggage over 16 night stays as part of the Coast to Coast walk. They did not miss one drop off and were 100% successful in delivering our bags. You can see how hard the drivers have to work juggling complicated individual itineraries, heavy luggage and road issues such as the Kirkstone Pass being closed, yet they didn't miss a beat. Thanks so much for great service and making our holiday a success.

Recently walked the Dales Way and Sherpa van was fantastic. Both drivers were exceptional, and Mike Nixon in particular was nice, wonderful and extremely helpful. I will continue to use Sherpa Van and look forward to interacting again with their great drivers and pleasant customer service staff. Five stars!
