Blackwell Dog Training incorporating The Naughty Dog School - NDS

We’re currently 2 weeks into our 4 week training program. We first contacted Naughty Dog School one evening and within 10mins we was on a phone call discussing our dogs reactivity issues and was instantly told what the best training plan would be to help. It is a very well organised training school, very informative with plenty of online resource to help and the 121 sessions are brilliant. We’re already noticing a change in our dogs behaviour and in how we handle the situation.

Big shout out to The Naughty Dog school! Ernie has been training with them for a while now and is coming on in leaps and bounds! He’s suffered a minor setback recently by cutting his paw quite badly on a piece of glass which has resulted in stitches, a bandage and a cone! The vets asked us to keep Ernie calm and relaxed whilst they were in (10-14 days) with no walks, playing or jumping on furniture. A tough ask for him and us! We were daunted to say the least. And then we remembered the boundary training taught to us by Lynette and we were saved! We’ve been able to keep him settled whilst he’s been recovering and I have no doubt that without that training, it would have been a very different experience! Thanks again Naughty Dog School!

Highly recommended.I would like to say a massive thank you to Lynette, Joe, Kelly, Diego and Winston for all the help, patience and encouragement they gave to me and my 2 year old springer spaniel Dylan. We had both become anxious due to some difficult dog meets while out on our walks. We completed the 4 week intensive course and developed lots of techniques for engaging Dylan and reducing both of our anxiety’s. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and Dylan loved the games and was totally focused. We are now going to start attending the group sessions to continue the training. We have had help from Lynette with both our dogs which I would highly recommend. We were worried about our over friendly dog running off when off lead, pulling on the lead and not following any commands, we have been taught strategies to engage him on walks to improve his obedience and our confidence. Our other dog was possessive in the home around favoured objects which was causing her to start to growl, with support from Lynette we identified the triggers and created safe spaces for her to go. Worth every penny for our dogs well-being and our peace of mind.

I would highly recommend NDS Lynette is very knowledgeable and professional.I contacted Lynette for Simba our 7month Husky X Akita because our walks were becoming stressful as Simba would become very excited when he see a dog/cat/human and would not walk on the lead without constant pulling. I was beginning to dread “walkies”At home Simba had a lot energy and was constantly bouncing off the walls.Lynette asked to see what we was feeding him and gave us advice on Simba’s diet and within 3days of a diet change our dog was calm at home. I could not believe more than half of his behavioural problems were down to diet.Lynette also advised on training leads.We followed NDS online training program and started playing NDS games and walks have become fun and pleasurable.NDS takes the pressure off structured training the training is fun for both of us and Simba does it because he wants to not because I’ve given a command.The support and guidance I have had from Lynette is amazing and we have loads of fun training Simba.Thank you so much

We’ve just had our first 1-1 with Lynette and we couldn’t be happier! Astounded with the results after just one hour! Ernie’s recall isn’t the best but the game training totally appeals to him and we’ve seen an immediate improvement! We can’t wait to get started on our ‘homework’ and see where the next stages take us!

Took my 3 year old Cane Corso who was highly anxious towards people and dogs. Within 2 session we had him walking with two other people and successfully introduced him to another dog. Joe and Lynette are amazing and couldn’t recommend them more.

We found this excellent training school when our very large Malamute x German Shepherd was 8 months old. We had tried several other trainers with no luck and was debating on whether we could keep him. We found the training that Lynette offers to work very well for us.We attended every Saturday for several years and what a success we had. We quickly understood our dogs behaviour, the whole family approach worked really well and after the first month or so we were able to walk him successfully and he was able to socialise with other dogs with lots of off lead play. Our dog is now 9 years old and has made a wonderful addition to our family. If and when we choose to buy another puppy we look forward to training with you again !Thank you for all of your help.
