You know you've got an excellent locksmith when he finds out you locksport and starts showing you his specialist kit and interesting locks he's managed to open! You can tell Alex is very interested in his work as a craft and not to make a quick buck. Has the whole range of pick sets for different types of locks. Pricing isn't dirt cheap/large volume cheap but very reasonable as he goes the extra mile to make it a non-destructive an entry. Quick to respond on the phone and reasonable estimates with time. Would definitely recommend.

Quick response on a Sunday when we were locked out of our flat in Glasgow. Alex got here in 30 - 40 mins, got us inside the flat, and fixed a new lock for us as the older one was damaged beyond repair. Patiently explained to us what the issue was and recommended the best course of action.Extremely professional and would highly recommend his services!

Had Alex out last week was out within half an hour and priced the work needing done and advised it wasn’t totally broken yet but we decided we wanted to replace the gearbox in the door. He also mentioned what type of handles I needed and we ordered on Amazon and he fitted those two on the door. I had an incredible experience with LKC Locksmiths. When I found myself locked out of my flat on Sunday I called them up and Alec's wife arrived within half an hour - despite it being the weekend. The door was really difficult to open and we spent over an hour trying to get it open. Eventually, Alec, who was at a football match, had to come to the rescue and successfully opened the door. After all the effort they put in, I was fully expecting a hefty bill, but to my complete surprise, they generously waived the fee due to the extended time it took to open the door. Amazing service! Alex was great, he came within 15 minutes of calling. It was quite late at night is well but he still provided excellent customer service and showed empathy towards the situation. He opened the jam door super quick with no damage and replaced the door with a new gear! The door is brand new! Affordable, no call out fees and the new gear comes with 1 year guarantee! Honestly super pleased and happy with service! What a life saver! :)

Alex was incredibly responsive and quickly came out to look at my door after a stiff lock went to being an unlockable door. He quickly determined the problem, sorted it and asked if there were any issues again in the evening (which was when the door seized up) that I call him so he could come back.
