Mike is brilliant. He has an incredible ability to balance creative design, practical usage and customer care (listening). He has continued to guide me in my garden journey. it's the best in the street and has become the neighbourhood hangout due to its beauty.

Mike designed a front and back garden for us 2 years ago which has matured beautifully. It requires minimal watering/ maintenance and receives raves from all our neighbours. Last year he did the same for our rear garden, and it is growing in well. He has an easygoing attitude, takes his clients' feedback and preferences on board, and delivers in a timely manner with the help of reliable assistance from his professional landscaping partners. He considers key details (aspect, sustainability, seasonal colour, etc.) to create interest year round, and returns for feedback and fine tuning to ensure the end result is both functional and visually pleasing. He really is brilliant at garden design, and I can't recommend him enough!

I recently hired a landscape designer for a small garden redevelopment in South London and I couldn't be happier with the results. In short; Michael was great.We screened a few garden designers to overhaul our small, challenging London garden. After we met with four designers, it was clear Michael was a good fit for us.When planning the garden, he listened to exactly what we said. He gave us three designs to choose from, based on our detailed comments, wants and hopes. We chose one of these, as it was very much in line with what we'd hoped for and then-some.From there, we entered the building phase. Mike has a great network of builders, workmen, sources for plants and materials, furniture, etc. They dealt with everything. They were great to have in and out of our home for some time. Mike would check-in, respond to questions and issues.When it was done, we were very pleased, but it was hard to understand how great it was to be because gardens take time to grow.We have now had a full year+ of growth in the garden. It has far exceeded our hopes and expectations. It is absolutely beautiful. Not only did Michael take our initial thoughts, but he added to them and made something we simply couldn't have thought up.Michael is also very personable, warm, helpful and good. At every juncture, he was there, responsive and cheerful. We are thankful.I bet people like to feel badly about spending money on their gardens. We can confidently say that the money spent on this project was worth every penny. I'm glad we took Michael's guidance at all turns to meet our goals with this project. There is no way we could have done this by ourselves and it took Michael quite a lot of time and effort to get us there.We don't typically write reviews for anything, but in this case, Michael is someone we think is simply fantastic and would love for more people to get exposure to his fine work.

I would definitely recommend Mike if you want a beautiful new garden designed by someone who knows what they're doing! I was impressed by his website and liked that he was someone local to me. We spoke to a previous client which reinforced this decision.Mike gave us 3 designs and really listened to what we said we wanted. He added his flair on top of this and took us through the different stages. Having patience was the hardest bit as it seemed so exciting. When the work started his landscaping team worked really hard and were really enjoyable to have on site.I literally couldn't believe some of the. stuff they achieved and in the middle of a heatwave. There were some alterations that needed to be made for the height of the decking and it really was no trouble to them. Everyone just wanted to strive for quality which impressed me.It's now the following season and the plants have really flourished and it's just heaven now in our garden. Working from home is such a delight. And the thing about a garden is that it keeps flourishing and growing so it's definitely been worth the cost and effort.

Mike bought bags of enthusiasm and creativity to our project. He listened to our requirements and budget and worked with the architecture of our new build which was a key requirement for us. He pushed us (in a good way) during the design process and we've ended up with a scheme that we are really happy with. We've had lots of positive comments from family and friends.During the construction Mike was on site regularly to check up on the progress of the landscapers and rolled up his sleeves to do the planting and help with all the finishing touches.We'd happily recommend Mike.

Mike recently designed a wonderful garden for us. Our outside space had been very neglected over the years, we rarely used it and were keen to find someone who could transform it into something fabulous but manageable (no pressure!) . We initially contacted a few garden designers but from the first consultation with Mike we knew we'd found the right person - he listened to our ideas, made lots of really great suggestions of his own once he'd assessed the space and from this created a fabulous garden that the whole family now love spending time in. We'd never used a designer for anything before so were a little nervous about the process but he has a clear structure and price plan and introduced us to a fantastic landscaping team who he kept in touch with throughout the build. The work was finished on time, to a really high standard and everything came in right on budget. Mike then did the planting and the end result is just stunning.Mike made several visits regarding the design, adjusting and checking design plans until we were completely happy with everything before work started. He has a very relaxed style, but is meticulous in his design, clearly passionate about his work and really knows his stuff. He also put in a lot of work sourcing fab (and reasonably priced) garden furniture and lighting - items we'd never have discovered without his help and that fit in with the overall design beautifully. I really can't recommend him highly enough.

We absolutely loved working with Mike. The whole process from beginning to end was so smooth and straightforward. We had never had our garden done before so we didn’t know what to expect. Mike was creative, but listened to our ideas and what we wanted the space for. He was patient in helping us find the right design and happy to go back and change things as we moved forward. He was very positive and enthusiastic all the way through. You can see his passion for his work.Mike also recommended his trusty landscaper guys, who were also absolutely wonderful. They worked extremely hard and were incredible at making Mike’s plans come to life. They did a fantastic job and we are so thrilled we our end result.Mike kept popping to see the progress of the work, he kept in touch with us and the landscaping guys and it all worked pretty smoothly. He came back at the end of the project and helped us put out plants in which was really fun and the best way to end the project. We loved working with Mike and would highly recommend him.

We were especially grateful for the way in which Mike integrated our personal aesthetic into a scheme that worked for our period property. Mike oversaw every detail from design to development and has stayed in touch long after the project was completed to ensure that everything is as we would want it.

We worked with Michael on the plant design and work to complete out courtyard garden. Michael was fantastic with coming up with ideas, presenting them and then iterating based on our feedback. He ordered all the materials and plants for us and put the team together to complete the job. The garden has since thrived and we are really pleased with the result. We actually wish we had met Michael earlier and had involved him in the actual structural design of the courtyard. He has so many great ideas. We would recommend him and plan to use him again for future projects
