I'm in two thoughts about this bookstore. All the hard backs are £5 and paperbacks £3, which is fairly expensive for a second hand bookstore, though this varies from book to book. There is however a huge selection of books, mostly well organized, so if you are looking for one that is less common, this is the place for you. I would however recommend a visit if you are in the area. The card machine is a £5 minimum.

Lovely second-hand book shop. Vast range sorted by genre, but within the genres it's a bit random. Fine if you're not looking for something specific. Not the cheapest though.

Absolutely brimming with books. Not hugely convenient if you've got a specific book in mind but full of treasures if you love to browse. They had some beautiful leather bound books tucked in a corner at the back. My only issue would be the books on the floor - makes it a bit difficult to navigate without treading on the merchandise. Definitely worth a visit for any book-lover.

Great second-hand bookshop, plenty of stock. Some of the older books can be a bit tatty (I'd call them reading copies rather than collectors copies) but overall definitely worth a browse.

Recently moved to the area and first time ever popping into the store! Might I just say wow! This place is incredible it really is the sort of place you neeed to spend a good hour plus to look around! Had a proper nosey around the whole selection (sometimes a bit difficult to look at stuff due to there just being so much). And managed to fine a couple of early edition Le Corbusier books which I had been after awhile!

It's an olde worlde bookshop, with shelves stacked, books on the floor, and every subject imaginable.Make sure you have time for a good rummage as not everything is nicely alphabetical, and some shelves are stacked 2 deep.It's a proper second hand bookshop, done as they should be. None of this modern coffee shop" vibe to it

Packed with books of and for all ages.Old fashioned book shop split over two levels with a small, cosy seating area upstairs. Everything's arranged roughly into subjects with piles of books everywhere.In fact it's a little too full. Navigating around is difficult in places. I was barely able to squeeze into one room upstairs.Pricing seems a little haphazard and, at times, quite high compared to other shops.However, after shifting several stacks and removing the front row of double shelved books, I came across a few novels I've been after for years.

I've never seen a book store quite like this one, I would say this place is heaven for book enthusiasts. It has pretty much anything you can think of, and if the bottom floor loaded with books isn't enough, then there is plenty more upstairs. The staff are friendly and prices are good. There is so much to this place, words could not describe, I honestly would say it is worth visiting especially for those who love to read.

Excellent secondhand bookshop now relocated to St George's Place just down the road. Great prices and great selection.
