Had a bent bumper and broken headlight on my Land Rover Discovery 1 and when they took it away and inspected it they came back and said it will cost more to repair the vehicle than what its worth

ERS insurance is a bogus insurance company there is no ambiguity. This insurance company likes your money as if honey, but when something comes up to settle it procrastinate up to many many months. If something come to repayment same thing happens. procrastinate". This company wants to take advantage of none fault accident as well. 2x increase the premium. Please don't use ERS insurance because if something happens in my case car stolen they put you over to Brownsword who please check reviews makes u wait months and drag everything out lies and insurance don't care say Brownsword incontrol of the case now....! Interview after interview and everything takes forever goin over the same stuff even tho u send everything they ask for etc u will be without a settlement for months

If you own a Classic Bike I wouldn't insure it anywhere else. The premium is great value, the CC staff very helpful - and the recovery (breakdown) service outstanding. On Saturday (09JUL) my 1955 BSA suffered a mechanical set-back.. I first called at 4:45pm and the truck arrived at 5:15pm - outstanding. The bike was duly loaded onto a flatbed and recovered back home. All very easy. And you could track and call the driver anytime. Brilliant, fantastic, service - thank you ERS. Bike since fixed and back in service!

I obtained a policy with ERS for my Range Rover via Adrian Flux the broker who are brilliant. ERS however after 3 weeks and 3 inspections including a letter stating the car was a Cat B write off are now trying to prove neglect as my last MOT had an advisory for a minor oil leak and this may have caused the engine bay fire.I have been asked to provide all Bill's and receipts and they will not contact repairs directly to obtain these. Considering this was a show car and the bay was immaculate I am going through hell.Be warned do not trust ERS Equity Red Star Insurance with your classic car.

ZERO STARSIf only I'd seen these reviews before.My claim took over a year to be sorted during which they had my vehicle in their possession. When I got it back it had a couple of thousand miles extra on it and required nearly a thousand pounds worth of repair from their negligence.Customer care don't careThis will be reported to Lloyds of London and I think others should do the same. Strength in numbers.

Please avoid! I insured my Golf GTi through Chris Knott, the underwriters are ERS. When taking out my policy i declared all my modifications and also had an agreed value but when the car was written off everything went out the window. The car was given a category B marker which it shouldn't have and also offered me less than what the gearbox alone was worth??? The worse thing about the accident was dealing with the insurance. I wanted my car back so i can take my parts off but they refused, I had no intentions of putting the car back on road so i had to get the ombudsman involved. However since I am getting my car back their not even paying me out. Its been 7month and i haven't even been given a penny yet. Whats the point of declaring modifications and paying a premium if they don't actually cover anything? As far as I'm concerned i paid a premium for a service which i never received. Worse customer service i have ever experienced. I was also lied to twice regarding my vehicle being disposed of without my consent.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! ERS Insurance got Innovation Group to arrange repairs for my car and my car was damaged by their repairer! I have been trying to get them to take the car back and fix it for weeks. Do not trust their letters of British Standard and three-year guarantee so on check the reviews and find your own reputable compeny.

You only hear of the bad reviews so here's a good one. I had only been with ERS for a short time when I received damage to my motorhome and my claim from start to finish was pretty much perfect (i say almost because I had to chase a couple of times, that was probably just me being impatient) the staff I spoke with were very polite every time, I was put in touch with an approved repairer who collected my vehicle shortly after, my vehicle is currently with them an is being repaired, I know of the repair company and they are very good, all in all a positive experience and I hope ERS customers can acknowledge their good work and not be petty by leaving negatives reviews because something didn't go their way. Thanks again.
