Intake Farm Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Relaxed and friendly base from which to explore the area. Excellent location on the edge of Foxt, walking straight from the site, and Rob and his son helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely return when back in the area, it was pleasure to stay in such beautiful surroundings.

Lovely and quiet, each pitch has hook-up, own water tap and drain for waste. Great extra with each pitch having a picnic table.. Clean Chemical toilet drainage point. Great owners and a 5 minute walk to the village pub which is on the flat and not 5 minutes as the crow flys.. Serves food a a great pint of directors.We will visit again.

Lovely site in a pretty village. Great site for Alton towers and lots of other places to visit from historic towns and houses to forest walks.The site owners Rob and Jane were very welcoming and the pitches spacious. An added bonus was that each pitch had drainage and fresh water tap. Fantastic value and we highly recommend.The local pub is well worth a visit for a meal, friendly locals and reasonable prices for good food..and the pitches spacious and had own drainGe and water.

Just spent two nights here, great site, all serviced pitches, Robert vert friendly and helpful, great information about the area. Great walks, pub on your doorstep less than 10 min walk.good food. We look forward to returning soon.

Lovely quiet location, very clean. Nice friendly hosts. Village pub just a short stroll. And even Alton Towers is only a 10 minute drive.

Great location, had great views, power, water and a good local boozer . The best part was the hosts, couldn't have done enough for us, lovely, genuine family that made us feel at home.Will definitely use again

We had a lovely stay at Foxt on July 11th. The family running the site couldn’t have been more helpful and even had fresh eggs for us.The site has a well situated grass area overlooking the local area with water and electrical hook up on request.We will definitely be staying again on our next trip to Alton Towers

Beautiful, quiet campsite set in the countryside. What an amazing discovery.So close to Alton park so ideal for family visits.The fox and goose pub is a 5 minute walk away serving good food and drinks.We will definitely be back again next time I’m in the area.

My wife and I booked in late for a one night stay. Rob couldn’t have been more helpful. The site is beautifully kept with short grass or optional hard pitches if necessary. The slight slope on the grass pitches necessitated the use of chocks for our motor home which was no problem. Having a tap and grey waste disposal was a bonus. We were even given a celebratory 50th birthday drink which made you feel like a family member. The views are stunning on a clear day with rolling hills that have paths crisscrossing them easily accessed the site. Added to this is a large field adjacent where you are allowed to exercise your dog.This is a good site for a quiet country beak an one that we will return to when we are next in the area.
