I found Mr Stylianides really easy to talk to, obviously very knowledgeable and experienced in his field, but put me at ease and completely understood what I wanted.The surgery went as planned and he kept me informed on the recovery process. I really liked the fact that Mr Stylianides phoned me a couple of times after I’d been discharged just to check in.When I went back for a face to face follow up it was almost like seeing an old friend! Very relaxed, yet informative and nothing seemed like too much trouble.I would highly recommend Mr Sylianides.

I fully recommend Mr Stylianides. From the beginning he made me feel completely at ease, explained the procedure very clearly and I had full confidence in him the entire process. The booking in process was easy and efficient. The day of the operation went very smoothly and I felt in safe hands. Mo, the anaesthetist was very kind and explained what would happen. My umbilical hernia surgery went very well and almost 6 weeks on I have recovered well and looking forward to playing sport again.

What can I say about Nick Stylianides? Well, frankly he is the most wonderful, highly skilled, empathetic, approachable and kindly medical professional you could want to meet. I feel so grateful that I found him after developing serious complications post a prior NHS surgery (no fault of my NHS surgeon I hasten to add). Nick took onboard all of my issues and gave me some frank, yet thoughtful, input as to how he could resolve them for me. I went in to the operation with confidence, knowing I had chosen the best person for the job with full trust in his expertise. My surgery was a long one - 6 hours in total, but Nick was there straight after I came around to check I was ok. He visited me every day whilst I was in hospital, even at weekends and on his days off. Each time he listened to my worries and reassured me that I was doing well. Once I got home Nick phoned me regularly and saw me in clinic a number of times to check my wounds were healing and that I was progressing well. The surgery I had was physically and mentally life changing - but all for the good. He really is the most amazing man and I wholeheartedly would recommend him to anyone.
