Ye Olde Woodworkery turned a replacement finial for the top of my porch. They did a wonderful job and it was great to find such skills locally.

Troy replaced three windows and 2 doors, all work done with great attention to detail and finish including cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommended.

Troy has done loads of work in our house from repairing lime plaster walls, repairing 16th century floor boards, restoring sash windows, designing and constructing oak and lead casement windows, re-profiling our kitchen roof and most recently installing a stone fireplace. He is knowledgeable, skilful and reliable.

Troy did an amazing job on our listed timber framed thatched house. He did repairs to the timber and wattle and daub panels and the quality was exceptional. He’s a really nice guy and extremely knowledgeable, the price was very fair, couldn’t ask for more. I’d recommend him 100% for any work.

We recently purchased a period property and had concerns about finding someone we could trust to refresh our tired house to make it our home, while being sympathetic to the property's heritage.Our concerns are history since meeting Troy who has so far replaced flooring throughout the ground floor, as well as replacing our internal oak doors. We have also booked for our staircase, windows and front entrance door to be replaced in the summer.Our quirky home is not easy to work with and presents lots of challenges that only someone with Troy's knowledge and experience could overcome.We're always thankful for his hard work and attention to detail.

We recently moved to a new house and Troy has done some amazing work for us inside and outside the house. The biggest job was making 2 fantastic gates ( one is pictured below). After months of looking for a builder/joiner who had knowledge of listed buildings I came across Troy. When he came to look at the work needed it was obvious he has great knowledge as to what older buildings need. The work completed was to a really high standard and looks fantastic. He also turned up when he had arranged to, which seems to be a rarity in the trade these days! We will be be using him again. Thanks again.
