Natural Wedding Photography

Well it's nearly 2 years since our fabulous wedding at the Roman Camp Hotel Callander and I've got around to writing a glorious review of George, Sinead and their services. I cannot recommend George enough. He worked with us, researched well and helped deliver a day of great fun whilst capturing marvellous memories of our day. The great weather helped and we could not have asked for a more perfect day OR a more perfect team around us. George is an absolutely fantastic photographer. On the morning of the wedding he put everyone at ease with his relaxed manner and definitely set the tone for the morning! He was friendly and took time to chat to the wedding party as he took some getting ready snaps. At the Cathedral where we got married George took some amazing shots, and what we particularly liked about his style was that he captured natural moments and was very unobtrusive – I’m not big fan of getting my photo taken and I wasn’t even aware of it being done during the ceremony. We did have some posed shots as well and George made sure everyone was at ease and put together some lovely (and most importantly not cheesy!) shots. Our wedding day was wet but George found some great spaces at our venue outside where we could still get photographs. He really helped to make the day special and our finished photographs were beautiful. We also received a DVD of our photographs set to music which was lovely as we didn’t have a videographer. Don’t look any further if you want a professional, friendly and very talented wedding photographer! Highly recommended! Thanks George!

I can't imagine a better photographer for your wedding day. George made our wedding day even more perfect. We are both Americans and got married in Scotland, and thought we would have challenges planning and coordinating, but George was available and easily accessible throughout the planning process--we were even able to Skype prior to our wedding day to ensure we had everything covered. George's style of photography was non-intrusive and very relaxed and the photos came out beautiful. George is nice, funny and professional and my wife and I, along with all of our guests, really enjoyed having George around during the wedding day. Honestly, cannot recommend a photographer more than George, from start through finish everything was perfect and made the experience unforgettable.

When my wife, Julie, and I were researching wedding photographers, George Lammie came highly recommended and straight away we could see why. The quality of his portfolio is only matched by the quality of the service George provides and from the minute we initially met George we knew we'd found our photographer. He was friendly and approachable and added to what was an amazing day. Our guests also spoke very highly of George and the way he conducted himself in an unobtrusive, friendly manner. His sense of the humour and personality shone through particularly when organising large numbers of people for group shots and we feel that added to our guests overall enjoyment on the day. We have since received our photographs from George and they are packaged wonderfully; the range and the quality of his work is fantastic and he captured some wonderful moments that Julie and I will cherish always. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than George Lammie. When my wife and I were looking at photographers, George stood out both with his portfolio/style as well as his level of communication. We are foreign and were planning our wedding in the Highlands completely blind, having never travelled outside of North America, so it was imperative that we worked with someone that was responsive and didn’t mind the five hour time difference. George was extremely flexible and was happy to hop on an afterhours FaceTime call to discuss the details of our day or clarify shots that we’d requested. Having the ability to discuss things face-to-face rather than rely solely on email made us much more comfortable. By the time we met him “in real life” on the day of our wedding, we were completely at ease. While my wife was getting ready, George was constantly popping in for a few shots, to share an anecdote, and to remind her hair and makeup ladies of the time. He kept her calm and her friends giggling. George made sure we stayed on time and gently herded us where we needed to be, which was a boon for our frazzled nerves.From a technical standpoint: we were married in the middle of October, in the evening, near the Isle of Skye, inside a castle. This did George no favors when it came to the amount of available light, but he truly made the most of it and our pictures came out gorgeous. He was able to get nice wide shots in small quarters and had some great nighttime ones as we walked to the pub that hosted our wedding breakfast. Our friends and families all loved George – they gave him a standing ovation when he said goodbye. We received our proofs in a timely manner and were surprised and thrilled to see the photographs of the locale. He captured the mood of our wedding perfectly. George’s wife, Sinead, is also an unsung hero: she did a phenomenal job putting together our album, shipping it to us internationally, and was an unexpected and valuable resource when we had questions regarding the Scottish cultural norms. Working with George and Sinead was everything we could have hoped for: our pictures came out fantastic and they certainly helped make our day go much smoother. We could not recommend them more enthusiastically.
