Supernature Garden

We are delighted with our new garden and wholeheartedly recommend the services of Louisa and Emma of Supernature Garden & Landscape. Louisa initially visited our modern, minimalist home and immediately understood that it required a design that flowed well, made use of the various spaces in the L shaped layout and brought the outside in (we have large windows overlooking the garden). We were given a few options for the design and budget in order to make an informed decision. We required plants that were easy to maintain and these were specified and clearly indicated on the plan where they would thrive best, making full use of Louisa’s expertise in horticulture. As we know nothing about plants, photos were provided to give us a better visual and we were consulted if there were any changes to the cost. The design specified a water feature and lighting as well as materials such as sleepers, gravel, wood chips and stone tiles. The entire process was very clear. We felt supported every step of the way and they helped us keep an eye on the budget. They liaised well with our landscaping and electrical contractors and our project was completed efficiently and on time. Louisa and Emma are not only brilliant landscape designers they are hands-on as well -- they did a great job, along with their team, meticulously planting everything. There is such a wonderful feeling of well being in our garden now and we are enjoying our outside space tremendously.

Louisa has done an excellent job throughout the re-design of my garden, right from the very first consultation to the aftercare and maintenance. She has been thorough, responsive and considerate, and all her work has been of the highest standard, as has that of the additional contractors that did the landscaping parts of the work. I was kept up to date and informed throughout and there was plenty of flexibility for my individual needs. I am delighted with the results and would highly recommend Supernature to anyone!

Louisa created a beautiful front garden for us and we are absolutely delighted with the result. The design process was really enjoyable – she listened carefully and understood the style of planting we wanted. The initial precedent images and planting palette she produced were very useful for feedback on the individual plant choices and Louisa was flexible in taking into account our preferences (although we loved it and only asked for one additional plant!). The drawing of the planting plan and plant lists (with the time of flowering for each plant) were beautifully put together and really helped us visualise the design. The final design includes a wonderfully diverse array of plants (some which we were familiar with and others we were not) that provide interest, structure and colour all year round. The planting was done incredibly efficiently and she and her team are extremely knowledgeable and considerate. She has also been responsive to questions afterwards and provided advice on bulbs we could plant too. I have attached a photo of our front garden taken in October, just 5 months after planting.

We have really enjoyed working with Louisa on our garden redesign and are delighted with the transformation. We wanted to bring a natural woodland type feel to our city garden whilst also making it better suited to entertaining friends and family outdoors. With the combination of landscape design and planting choices we're happy that Louisa has achieved this for us.We loved the design process with the layout designs, concept boards and illustrations of what the designs could look like from the house. I find it hard to visualise what something will look like, so the illustrations were particularly useful. Louisa made suggestions that we never would have thought of ourselves and in the end we combined elements we liked from two designs into the final design. The planting plans gave the space the natural feel that we wanted and we've noticed an increase in pollinators now we've added more native plants.Although Louisa had several projects on the go, it always felt that she truly cared about our garden project being a success.

Louisa has really helped transform areas of our garden with her designs, followed by planting and maintenance. She has provided an end to end service for us. We particularly love our new patio area for which Louisa came up with some really innovative ideas and then managed the whole project whilst we were away - we came back to a wholly new planted area which has now flourished! Also great value for money.

We could not recommend Supernature Garden & Landscape more highly enough. We have a little back garden and an open front garden in a newly built town house so we needed a design both beautiful and functional in order to get the best out of the limited space. Louisa and Emma really guided us from the beginning, understanding what we liked and giving us 2 options, so beautiful that it was hard to pick one! For the back garden we went for a sleek design with black wooden arches that really open up the space making it look bigger, two separate patio areas and a beautiful water table. The external garden has a more minimalist design, with gravel that matches the colours of the house and oak beams with different heights that mark the edges of the garden while leaving it airy. We needed low maintenance and pet safe plants and flowers and Louisa and Emma selected a beautiful range of plants based on a purple/fuchsia/yellow palette and lot of green. The highlight of the back garden is the beautiful Dicksonia antartica planted beside the water feature that gives the garden a very zen feeling.We absolutely love our garden and can’t wait to see it in spring with all the flowers in bloom!

Louisa of Supernature Garden and Landscape Design produced a excellent design which included all the features and ideas that we had discussed and then compiled a planting plan which complements the hard landscaping perfectly. I am absolutely thrilled with my garden and am thoroughly enjoying watching it grow and develop.
