Went to Dial a Geek for the second time after the first (see below) was such a positive experience. This was for a larger project, to migrate all company email for my SME from GSuite to M365. As before, the service was prompt, professional, effective, and made what had previously proven to be a nightmare scenario into a very simple procedure. I have recommended them as my company, and now I can recommend them personally as well.

Dial A Geek have been supporting Sweet Construct since February 2017. As a relatively new member of the company, Dial A Geek have been extremely supportive, patient and informative during my transition into the role. They made me feel comfortable in asking any type of question and were always happy to explain and reiterate any queries. All their staff members are friendly, helpful and approachable. Sweet Construct value their expertise and opinion; our company recently went through a huge company change and Dial A Geek were particularly instrumental in aiding a smooth transition. This has been accompanied with continued advice on how to maintain and expand business continuity. Throughout the recent pandemic, Dial A Geek enabled our company to successfully set up to work from home. We were really pleased with how smooth and easy this movement felt. As working from home as continued, we are experiencing the same high value of support.

Dial A Geek very kindly offered My charity, The Harvey Hext Trust, some pro bono support. I had no idea what support I needed but after a planning meeting with Yusra a list was quickly compiled. A few days later we were ready to get to work and Yusra was absolutely brilliant, she went through all of my security systems and tightened things up where it was needed, advising me on using a more secure back office tool and moving files across for me, Yusra even sent tutorials for the system incase I have any user issues. Everything I needed was backed up and secure.Yusra was extremely knowledgeable, professional and a joy to work with. Dial a Geek Save the day once more! Worked with Gildas & co for all my IT needs at my previous business, they are still there for me now I am solo. Nothing more stressful than your Mac suddenly dying in the middle of the working week but after a panic call to DAG a few hours later I’ve got a solution sorted. We have used Dial A Geek as our support service for some time now, but this is the first time we'd used them for a larger project rather than quick fixes. Yusra led us through an OS upgrade and changes to our email system. This was more complex than it sounds, as while the changes themselves were quite simple in the end, 3 of our business critical software packages were not supported by the new OS so timing, identifying all the dependencies and managing the switch was crucial. As a small not-for-profit company we don't have the luxury of specialist IT support and Yusra was great and listening to what we thought we needed, offering advice and carrying out the work. Our project scope changed along the way (and we had a 6 month interruption due to Covid closure!) as we learned more about what we needed, and Yusra flexed with this, offering us genuine solutions tailored to our business size and needs, rather than just going for a gold-plated most expensive version. She was also very patient at handling my non-techie questions, and giving clarification each time I needed it. Very much appreciated and all round great service.

Dial A Geek were recommended to me by some fellow freelancers when I shared my tales of IT woe with them. Following a call during which Gildas looked at my set-up, he made a number of clear recommendations, explaining how each would improve how I work. Yusra dealt with the implementation and she has been brilliant. Across several calls she set out exactly what was going to happen and when, as well as what I needed to do and when. She took remote control of my laptop, explaining each step as she did it. We have a further call in a week or so to check everything is working as intended. I’m really happy with how it has gone and would certainly recommend Dial A Geek.

Dial A Geek has been brilliant with our managed IT transition. The onboarding process was very smooth, and they got started immediately with making the necessary changes. They are very quick to respond to support tickets and the whole team is very knowledgeable. They also assisted us in acquiring our Cyber Essentials accreditation, and once again, the service was faultless. Even as a one-man IT department, it was extremely easy to work with Dial A Geek. Dial A Geek have been helping us with our IT since 2016 and are truly wonderful to have as part of our team. We had been ringing round companies for about 3 weeks by the time we found Gildas and the team, during that time we had been told that our business was too small to provide support packages to or baffled with IT jargon that left me thoroughly confused. Our company is actually based in Derby but the team at Dial A Geek impressed us so much we felt that the distance didn't matter.From the first call from Gildas I decided we were going to work with Dial A Geek, the packages were well explained, I knew exactly what we were getting and also felt that they understood our business and how their IT support could fit in with our plans.Every time I have called the support team with either an emergency or just something to action they have been quick to respond, helpful and stubborn in their efforts to find a solution to problems.I cannot recommend this team highly enough, from small businesses and beyond you can trust Dial A Geek with your IT support with none of the baffling jargon and always with a friendly person at the end of the phone or email.

The Harbour is a Bristol-based charity providing bereavement counselling. Dial a Geek provide us with IT support for our various digital products and we are very happy with the service. Mostly this is our Microsoft 365 intranet, however it ranges out of that area as needed.We recently moved our website from one web host to another and Dial A Geek helped with with our DNS records which hadn’t transferred properly, and an emergent issue of our contact form not sending mail to our organisational address. They were calm and professional and resolved our problems promptly. We have found the service to be just as good during the covid-19 pandemic as before and are doubly grateful for that.
