Ryan is a brilliant personal trainer. I'd highly recommend him to anyone. He has been a great help to my husband, helping him to get back his strength and movement after he has suffered 2 strokes.Twice weekly sessions for just over a month have already resulted in great improvement and an increase in self confidence and positive outlook for Johnny too. I have been working with Ryan for over 4 years. His commitment and dedication are second to none. He wants all his clients to succeed with their own goals. He offers a range of sessions from 1-2-1 and groups which include fitness and strength. The session's are always varied to keep them interesting and challenging. You have an initial assessment and regular reviews to keep you on track and progressing. This includes tailoring exercises to your body - as everyone is different the emphasis is in what is right for you as an individual. Ryan is always encouraging and is happy to share his knowledge. Consistency is the mantra, even on holiday I like to exercise. Ryan is happy for me to send a video of the equipment available and he advises me a workout.

I first went to see Ryan for assessment, after illness, post covid and a difficult family situation had left me feeling unwell and defeated.After an open discussion and some stretches and simple exercises, Ryan said he could work with me.My focus was on improving flexibility and strength.I had been attending Yoga classes, but experiencing a lot of hip pain after each class.Ryan helped me to correct that and fully explained about my inherent strengths from previous sporting activities, and also my weaknesses.His sessions have helped me to resolve the problems I was having, and made me feel overall much stronger, with better flexibility, movement and confidence. I am really enjoying my journey throughout the last year that I have been training with Ryan at Vitality and Mind. Starting as a complete beginner, he has taught me how to exercise in a safe and effective way. I’ve lost weight, toned up and completely changed my mindset towards exercising. Strength and 1-2-1 sessions are excellent, the group sessions are action packed and fun whilst also tailored to your individual needs. They are varied and I never get bored!The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and has a real community spirit. Its not like you picture a regular gym to be at all. Not a mirror in sight! Ryan always has time to help and explain. He really cares about your wellbeing. He is passionate about what he believes in and clearly has a lot of experience. His nutrition advice has helped me massively and is always something I have struggled with. He is like a fountain of knowledge. I would 100% recommend Ryan!

6 weeks ago i went to ryan with a really bad foot that i could barely walk on 6 weeks later im virtually pain free and training upto 3 times a week with some boxing thrown in,would recomend ryan he knows his stuff and will not push you top feller he is. The 1 to 1 boxing i enjoy and again he will push you without physical stress to your body. And helping my posture to ease the problems with my foot..

After gaining some considerable weight over lock down I need to get motivated. I was going to join a main stream gym. However my Son had been going to Ryan for some time and I was impressed with his passion for going. After a conversation with Ryan and several assessments I'm now on a path to a healthier life style. This is not just a gym, vitality and mind if you let him can shape your whole life from working out, to what you eat and understand your body and what is right for you! I'm at the beginning of my journey but I've already seen improvements in my weight and health. I, like a lot of people (I'm 49 next week) have picked up a heart condition (Ryan has training for this) diabetes (Ryan has experience with this) a busted back and Arthritis as well (I'm a real catch) but for all of this, Ryan has put a plan in place for me. Your not left alone, he is there to watch you make sure your ok. He is what a personal trainer should be, Passionate, Experienced, Safe and friendly. I highly recommend him

I really enjoy the small group classes with Ryan Worthington at Vitality and Mind Personal Training. They are varied and fun and Ryan will tailor them to your particular needs or adjust at the time if you are tired or have any aches and pains so you can still get the most out of your session.It’s always a friendly supportive group of people in a nice relaxed atmosphere so anyone who might be wanting to train but finds a big gym full of people quite daunting should give Ryan a try.Ryan really cares about the all round health and well-being of his clients and is always willing to discuss what his clients can be doing outside of the gym/classes to improve their health and fitness including dietary advice.

I’ve been attending 1-1 training sessions with Ryan for 6 weeks now with very positive results.When I went for my initial assessment with Ryan, I explained that I’d had numerous knee and shoulder operations with little to no physio afterwards and was suffering as a result.Over the past 6 weeks Ryan has tailored my training to alleviate the issues I’ve had post-surgery which has been a great success.My balance, coordination and strength has shown considerable improvement, which has got me to a condition where I can now also attend group training sessions to further improve my fitness.I’m very pleased with how the training has gone so far and am looking to continuing my training with Ryan to maintain and improve on the progress I’ve made so far.Highly recommended.
