Epic four day trip. EVERYTHING provided - so much so that we needed to just turn up and go - bedding, open fire (!), all the basic condiments and crockery sets (good stuff too - no attempt to scrimp here). Comprehensive handover ensured that even the least experienced could be confident in having a great time. California van was faultless and very luxurious - would go again, Stuart a top guy - patient and responsive over the phone and text. Great family owned business - if you go with these guys you can't go wrong.

I rented a VW California with my wife as I had wanted to try one before buying. The van was great as was all the kit in it that Stuart had thoughtfully put together. We liked the experience so much we bought the van and all its contents!!! Highly recommended

I decided to venture out and explore the hidden beauties of England by camping. Not in a tent, but in a campervan!Through my trip research I found Sun Kissed Campers, Ltd in Bath, England. After a few email exchanges with the Chief Camp Officer, Stuart, I was ready and counting down the days until my road trip.What a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish!- The campervan was perfect for eating, sleeping, relaxing under the awning and taking in the sights. It was well stocked and had plenty of fridge space for my own food supplies. I even had an Italian expresso Moka pot!- The van was easy to drive, maneuver and get set up once I pulled into a campsite.- The van allowed me to drive to interesting places and immerse myself in each of the villages I visited.My American friends were amazed and envious of my journey. They thought the campervan was so cool and a great way to camp"!It was a tremendous experience! Stuart & Sun Kissed Campers were amazing to work with and so helpful. I can't say enough about their hospitality

Hiring a vehicle can be a stressful and worrying experience. Not so with Sun Kissed Campers. Stuart was very friendly and helpful during the campervan collection and explained how the vehicle worked etc. I had a few questions during my hire period and Stuart was easily available to answer. The manual VW California campervan ran very well , was very clean and well kitted out with all the essentials.The vehicle drop off was very quick and easy too.All in all i was very pleased and have just booked another hire for May !Terry - Bristol

Sunkissed Campers are fantastic. Stuart is so knowledgeable and helpful. Having rented VW conversions before I thought I knew what we were in for, but the VW California is so, so sweet. Sunkissed use new models that are pristine and they have thought of everything - seriously, why are there not more vans with a basic cooking ingredients kit and a selection of flora, fauna and constellation spotting guides?! Really thoughtful, great comms and an all together lovely experience. We'll be renting again.

After an exhaustive search (believe me, we are picky!) we chose to hire a van with Stu and Jan at Sun Kissed Campers. We wanted a VW California and as they specialise only in this type of van, this was an instant attraction. But what sold it for us was their attentiveness and customer service that rose above and beyond the other companies.As a family of 4 novice campers Stu was always at hand to help us plan our trip, answer our questions and explain how we could get the best out of our time with the van.We went for the Boho Glamping Upgrade and loved that the bell tent gave us ultra-comfortable space for the kids to play in, and for us to relax in at our leisure, complete with the Thai day-beds.The California itself is superb, easy to drive and the manual that Stu provided was easy to follow. Once we'd been through the setup once, it was like second nature. Our kids loved 'sleeping in the roof', and it was great knowing that they were safe and secure whilst we sat by the camp fire at night.Overall I would say that our experience with Sun Kissed Campers was above and beyond what we expected. So much so, that we are already planning our next trip.

Hired a camper van for a weekend of camping and had an absolutely phenomenal time! The vans are pristine with all the mod cons and many things that you wouldn't even anticipate them to have - all extremely useful and make for a great camping trip.Everything went smoothly - from picking the van up and being talked through all of the controls, where everything goes etc. to the final day when we had to return the van. They have handy guides in the vans that remind you of everything (in case you forget) and Stuart is also on hand if you're ever in need.We'd definitely recommend. The only trouble is it'll make you want a campervan of your own! (Which is no bad thing!)

We had an excellent time travelling around Scotland. Sunkisscampers provided us a fantastic California van, clean and nearly new. We had to book last minute and Stuart reacted very quickly to get everything ready on time.A lots of accessories are thoughtfully put together and a homemade Instruction book helps in any situation. Stuart was very helpful and engaged to make our 4 weeks trip easy and comfortable.We highly recommend Sunkissedcampers!

We hired a VW California and travelled around South Wales. The camper was great to drive and was really well equipped. The food package was great and the knife upgrade was an excellent choice. Thoroughly enjoyed our week in the camper. Stuart made the admin for hiring the camper a breeze and responded quickly to my questions.Thank you Sun Kissed Campervans!

We would highly recommend Sunkissed Campers. Stuart was unfailingly helpful and extremely prompt in responding to our booking enquiries and very accommodating as far as our changing plans were concerned with the dates we required. All communication was efficient and friendly and this continued when we went to pick up the van from Bath.Stuart was welcoming and obviously proud of his camper. The VW California was well equipped and everything had been thought of in providing the bits and pieces including sharp knives and coffee pot. We had also opted for the Boho Glamping set, bbq and bike rack. The bike rack was easy to load and held 4 bikes securely. Our daughter enjoyed the Glamping set, including the tea light candelabra and fairy lights, and the bbq was easy to set up, light and cook on. After a guided tour of all the facilities on board we set off.The van was easy to drive and very responsive, it never felt under powered, even when fully loaded and tackling steep narrow lanes in South Devon. On arriving at campsites it was only a few minutes work to set up the awning, raise the roof, get the chairs and table out and put the kettle on. The bell tent was also quick and easy to put up and take down and gave us useful extra space to store stuff, as well as somewhere for our daughter to sleep. It was also straight forward to convert the van ready for the night.We had a fantastic time touring the South Coast from the New Forest to South Cornwall, helped by great weather and having a camper gave us the freedom to base ourselves at different locations. The service provided by Sunkissed Campers was second to none and we would certainly consider them for future holiday adventures.
