Hylands House

Enjoyable day at the flower show, so many stalls. Lots of eating stalls, all reasonable prices and inside the house the displays were amazing!

Open day at the house was good, downstairs is open for anyone to view once a month with activities going on. On open days there are food stalls and a few other stalls, a DJ and live music. Gets very busy. £5 parking for all day which is great especially as you won't get that anywhere else.The grounds are nice to have a walk too. Spring is springing now. Lovely place and one of my favourites.

What a amazing venue, easy to work here. The staff are so helpful, Grace and Courtney allways make sure they make it easy for guests and suppliers. The venue allways has so many staff on hand to help with the running through the day. We have provided Catering and decorations at this venue alot of times. Would recommend bride and grooms to book this venue for your special event. For photo shoots you have so many places at the venue which can be used. Parking is available and the marquee also has a great ac and heating facility to make sure the room us allways at the right temperature. Don't miss out book Hylands House before your date goes.

Visited Enlightened last night. Very impressive and enjoyable however the car parking staff were disorganised and we're waving illuminated attempt to get people to park in empty spaces. An admirable idea but just waving it aimlessly was achieving nothing. They need to talk to drivers and issue instructions. The car park lighting needs improving to avoid people walking into unlit knee high bollards and other trip hazards, which many did. Otherwise a great experience.

Hylands House has so historically value to the area, it is absolutely massive, you seriously can walk for miles, the grounds are so well maintained, there is an oversize car park, there is a big adventure playground for the little ones of different sizes and ages to be kept amused and entertained, after the little ones and us big ones are tired there is various suitable eateries for all our eating and snacking preferences and that includes ice cream and drinks, my preference was root beer, it was very nice.There are many areas for those who want to do picnic, the toilets of which there are many are kept immaculately clean which is a big tick for me, there is the fountain, there is the fish pond, there is just so much, you can definitely spend all day and still want to come again regularly

Stunning venue with lots to offer whether you have the marquee or the main house. The house has lots of history and marble throughout it definitely has the wow factor. Not to mention the large grounds and the amazing staff that look after everything for you. Perfect wedding venue.

Had a great time, my boy loved it. The lights were very artistic and well thought out, and the make a wish wall is a good idea. The animations in the cages are a nice touch,too. Would recommend to people to go see

A good day out although it didn't feel as full as last year. Lots of interesting garden bits and indoor flower show. Also stalls inside the house that are good for gifts. Stall holders are lovely and it's well organised.

Absolutely stunning house and park. Try to visit when they have an open day, because the friends of the house hold a tour that teaches you more of its history and previous inhabitants, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to everyone keeping this building so beautiful!

I have been visit this flower show and market and I have to tell I have been disappointed for price of this ticket for this show ot cost me 18£ per person , I was expecting see more then 4 show rooms not even let us go to 1st floor . Maket not better then any garden center probably about 20 pence you will save . Do I recommend anyone next time ? NO . Do I come back ? NO . Only wat it was good is good weather for this evening nothing else was good
