Excellent experience well worth the time and price. A nice introduction with lots of learning adm professional education from very experienced apiarists in London Beekeeping. Great start point to a long journey. Would recommend this to anyone who is interested in starting in Beekeeping or just wanting some exposure and experience with bees.

I just completed the introduction to bee keeping course. It’s 4 days of study, a mixture of practical and theory, with plenty of hands-on time in the hives. I was a complete novice, but at the end of the course I now feel confident enough to handle a hive, carry out checks and successfully manage swarming. We even got to carry out swarm management, which was completely fortuitous timing! The course is intense, a lot of ground is covered, but Salma and Khalil have a real talent for imparting their vast knowledge and experience. They explain everything clearly, concisely and with repetition to ensure all course participants come away with as much information as possible. Their passion for bees is infectious! Even if you are not considering keeping bees, there is plenty to gain with fascinating insights into the lives of bees and bee keepers.

I attended the introductory course at Bushwood Bees and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Great introduction to a more in depth course on Bee Keeping. Highly recommended.

Spent an afternoon with Salma and Khalil for a beekeeping experience. It was wonderful and highly recommended - their passion for the bees and their work is apparent, they’re full of knowledge on the subject and happy to answer any question, and the bees were gentle and a real joy to spend time with. And in addition, the honey is delicious!
