Destiny Scotland Apartments at Canning Street Lane

We had a very good stay here - the location is brilliant to move around the West End of Edinburgh.4* for the rooms as it's all functional but very clinical - no add ons that you might find in many self catering options like softer touches (flowers), tissues, throws etc. And the colour scheme is very cold - grey and white. In the living room/kitchen you will find all the appliances you need and a generous fridge/freezer. You will not find comfortable seating for 4, only for 2 (even in the 2 bedroom flat).Plus points: The bed was comfy and it was great the window could open to let in fresh air. Shower was large and lots of hot water!It's hard to rate the service as we didn't meet anyone, although I did receive emails ahead of the stay.

My husband and I stayed at Destiny on Canning St for 6 nights and loved it. The apartment was very clean, close to city center, and we felt very safe. The beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything you need to feel at home. The office staff with so incredibly helpful and professional - thank your for making our time in Edinburgh so great!

Excellent location, close to old and new town and to public transport. Rooms clean, spacious and well equipped. Communication timely with good explanation on access to the appartement.

We loved our apt and found it very clean, comfortable, close to walking to the Royal Mile as well as being convenient to nearby restaurants. One suggestion that would make it perfect would be to have onsite parking. Had to walk to a parking garage about 10 mins away to leave car while staying here.

Amazing place to stay. Really good quality apartment. Bathroom is stunning, living area is really spacious. Bedroom is perfectly suitable and sized for two people. Location is perfect and access to trams is minutes away.Only knock is the windows rattled due to wind but nothing that can't be sorted.

We stayed for the festival. The location was absolutely perfect. Two minutes walk from everything, but so quiet and secluded. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Apartment was outstandingly clean, perfect facilities, location was 5 minutes away from basically anything. Really enjoyable stay, more for your money, felt really homely.

The property was located between Old Town and New Town, which was perfect for us - roughly a 10-minute walk to either. The property was was on the ground floor and was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and bigger than we thought it would be. A large walk-in shower which was great. The bed was also very comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling mirrored wardrobes, so lots of storage. We really liked the door access and how the system worked - not having to worry about taking a key out with you everywhere you went. Excellent place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Gorgeous apartment, fantastic location and very friendly staff. Given 4 stars overall due to the windows banging constantly in the wind (had to stuff paper bags in the cracks of the bedroom window to stop it as it kept me up at night). Regardless of this, I would 100% stay again.
