Delicious pasta, great wine and friendly owners. On the pricier end but good value for money when you consider quality of ingredients, the fact everything is freshly made in front of you and generous portions. Will be coming back!

Lovely cozy little independent shop & restaurant. I went there with friends for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised by our evening experience. The food was sumptuous and the owners friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be back to try out more dishes!

I had a fabulous meal here for my birthday. I had walked by many times and promised myself I'd visit. I was overjoyed to discover how delicious the food was and how charming the restaurant was in the evening. Run by an incredibly talented duo this meal was everything I wanted and more. I can't wait to return!

We finally ate at Didi and Franc last night and whilst we had high hopes it somehow exceeded expectations! Both the food and wine were delicious. There's clearly been a lot of thought put into the menu and wine list and the food was cooked / prepared to perfection. We ate outside which had a lovely, chilled atmosphere and the service was excellent too. In short, can't recommend enough and already looking forward to going again very soon!

There are some great places to eat in Kennington, but this is definitely the star in terms of quality, value for money and service. In 2021, D&F were forced to close due to damage caused by flooding, and my partner and I are so pleased that they have been able to reopen after such a long time. This is a restaurant/deli, selling a variety of gourmet cheeses, wine and other products. Their menu consists of a number of small plates, all involving cheese. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. My highlight would have to be the cacio e pepe special - the best thing I have eaten this year!

Very nice place to pick up a special bottle of wine or some decent artisan cheese. I bought a bottle on the cheaper side of their price range, which was a £26 bottle of red that was developed by the sommelier from El Bulli. Very nice, but quite pricey, so I'm unlikely to be popping in on a regular basis. But if you have a special occasion it's not a bad shout. The team are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they have hand sanitizer for customers to use. So mask up & pop down for a treat if you get the chance.

We've been so excited for Didi and Francs to reopen after they shut due to the flooding, and the meal we had on Friday even exceeded our expectations! Every dish was delicious, and really good value for money considering the quality of the food. Service was excellent, and we weren't at all rushed to finish our meal. Can't wait to come back!

My partner and I have been twice now. We had the cheese board the first time and it was lovely! The second time we both had pasta and the Basque cheesecake. Both dishes were amazing. The wine is also delicious and affordable priced. This place is a local gem, with friendly and welcoming staff. If you haven't been yet, you really are missing out.
