The Nunhead Gardener

Quality of plants is questionable, I’ve bought two separate plants here and both have died within a week or so. I own many plants which are all thriving so it’s disappointing. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the plant pots are beautiful.

Stunning garden centre with gorgeous use of railway arches. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, a real treasure!

It's a little bit out of the way for me but I think I might have just found my new favourite garden centre.I have been to this branch (the biggest?) and the branch in Camberwell and been thoroughly impressed by the customer service both times. Staff were friendly, personable and helpful. I only needed a small quantity of sphagnum moss and they suggested they could sell me a small amount from their large sacks instead of buying a prepackaged larger bale. Prices are very reasonable compared to other central London nurseries and the plants I've bought from here are always in good condition. This branch is cosy but full - has a lot of cute pots if you are looking for those, and a lot of small-medium plants which I always prefer (so you can see them grow)!Pretty good social distancing measures considering the space they are working with - limitations placed on the number of customers within the indoor space and masks required. My only complaints are that it might be helpful to put up price signs because I saw some plant leaves a little squished from people lifting them in and out of the outer pots, and to consider adding more overhead lights to make browsing easier during these times.

I passed this place several times but finally, I had a chance to pop in. Every that is interested in gardening should visit this place. You can find a variety of house and outdoor plants for a reasonable price. Nice pots in different sizes. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful The Nunhead Gardener store I discovered today. Based right by Nunhead railway station. Beautiful, unique, well looked after flowers and plants you can find in here. Also stylish pots and everything you need to look after the plants for both indoors and outdoors. Staff were lovely, kind and helpful. Definitely my go again!

Fantastic garden Center right next to the station. Super friendly and helpful staff with a massive beautiful range of indoor and outdoor plants. Great pots and accessories too.

I was expecting very high prices but was really surprised to find low and acceptable prices. The place also presented itself quite well. Bought 3 plants and will return.

Lovely garden centre. Lots of beautiful (and fairly priced) inside and outside plants. Great customer service. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Also, great selection of plant pots.Definitely a place worth visiting if you love plants.

There is no need to look anywhere else - this place is top notch. Not only are the selection of plants truly fantastic, but the pure helpfulness and knowledge of the stuff is unmatched by any garden centre I’ve gone to. Extremely happy with their services and will be back!

Great little Gardener in Nunhead. People come from all around other areas of London to buy plants and stuff here. Very good selection of products and plants available here. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is reduced part of the item toward left hand side of place. Love the pots chandelier. It’s right next to Nunhead over ground train station and there is also p12 bus stop just outside. Nearby free street parking if you come by car. Recommend to all.
