Just had the most wonderful cheese tasting experience here and would highly recommended a visit. All their cheeses are handmade all with natural ingredients and taste superb. And award winning family business who clearly have a passion for natural ingredients and perfection. For all you cheese lovers, this is a place to go.

Visiting Blaenafon Cheese Company was one of the highlights of our trip to Northern Wales! We loved sampling and learning from the owner about the beautiful and delicious cheeses. On top of the cheese sampling, we were offered really great advice about places to add to our touring list whilst in the area. So thankful that we visited Blaenafon Cheese Company- we enjoyed the day and nibbling on the cheese we purchased for the remainder of our trip!

We went into the shop yesterday to purchase a selection of cheeses including their new Traditional Caerphilly cheese.We were given a detailed talk about how the Caerphilly cheese is made and the process they have to follow.The Caerphilly cheese itself was outstanding, really tasty and worth every penny it cost.We are looking forward to trying the butter they make later today on home made scones.I cannot recommend Blaenavon Cheese highly enough. Thank you xx

I don't generally post poor reviews, particularly to a small business.Booked a cheese tasting in 2020Value £75Understandably it was postponed due to covid.Tried to re-book several times (when I could get hold of them.)Absolutely impossible....At one point was offered to sit on the pavement on the street to sample the cheeses.The company pledged to get in touch to honour my booking.We are now 2 years down the line and absolutely no communication back from them yet they were quick enough to take the money from our day out experience voucher.This company gives small independent business a bad name.Disappointing but now past reconciliation.Received a response via Facebook suggesting my feedback (based on my experience) was rude and even my fault!I'm genuinely disappointed to have to submit a negative review but the evasive then abrupt tone of the company speaks volumes.

A unique shop in Braod Street Blaernavon called the Blaernavon Cheddar Co. The cheddar is matured in the nearby Big Pit because of the unique features of the tunnels. It is then processed and flavoured in the shop. In addition they sell lots of different drinks, relishes etc. They could make ideal gifts to take home. They have won lots of awards for their cheeses.
