Nice gym. Has swimming pools for kids & adults, weight rooms, aerobic machines, building walls, and a fun playroom for the kids. Very affordable prices and friendly staff.

a waste of money, how can I sign up for classes if the account is blocked more than thay said due to the fact that I didn’t go but I went but didn’t registered, they didn’t even warn us any one time! I've been trying to call support for an hour and no one has answered. never sign a contract with them, the service is just awful!!!!!!!!!!!!

Facilities: well there's a pool, it's not got many lanes, but as long as there's only 2 or 3 swimmers to each lane, it's Ok. Water, not heavily chlorinated (I can't abide goggles). Changing facilities Ok, no centrafugal spin drier, but hot showers and plenty of lockers and changing cubicles, they're a bit on the small size, but adequate.Gym: always positive and helpful staff on hand, frequently fairly busy, and no clear protocol between users regarding recovery periods (young men on their phones just sitting on the equipment). You need to check that equipment is turned on if you can't count, or like me, have difficulties judging the scope of a movement.Halls: are halls. Some time back half the hall was 'sacrificed' to an indoor play area for smaller children AJ our preschool friend loves the play area.Classes: all the usual suspects*Sadly, no longer a sauna and steam room, and 'refreshments' are from a machine.Staff are always welcoming, the place has an intimate 'family' vibe to it.Lots parking, and being on the outskirts it's really accesible to rural users.As an Active member one only has to make one visit a week to make it worthwhile financially and being able to book in to classes* a fortnight ahead gives one the edge on none members who can only book a week ahead.

Good location and a new build.I usually use the sports hall for badminton. Great space and helpful staff.

A modern, clean and tidy sports centre with a range of facilities. The pool is clean and well looked after with plenty of staff on hand to help out should you need it. Changing rooms are also clean and well kept with plenty of lockers for your valuables. Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming, ready to help out wherever they can. A lovely spot for the family and to keep the kids entertained in a healthy way.

Everything in this leisure centre is great. Every detail about the gym, swimming pool and soft play is great and hygienic. The whole family can enjoy themselves in the swimming pool due to the sloped floor in the deeper pool making it easier for any height to enjoy the pool and they also had a kids pool which was slightly warmer and was given a glowing report from everybody in the family. 10/10. Local and easy access.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the facilities we use are good. The computer system/booking system may need an update as we have encountered errors when booking sessions.

Lovely centre but you never know.,what is going on there! Arrived today for a swim to discover only half the pool was available no good if you are trying to swim lengths. About time the council got rid of the useless Active Northumberland and replaced it with someone who knows what they are doing.
