What a lovely shop. Went into buy a guitar case for my son, he took his guitar in to make sure it fitted. Matthew took the time to ensure that it did, an even refused to sell one because it had a faulty catch. Matthew even took the time to chat about bass guitars with my son. So he will be going back there when he needs things for his guitar or to buy a better one.

A brilliant shop. Matt is hugely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Unlike some music shops it's very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Great selection of instruments. There's usually some immensely talented guitarist quietly tinkering about in the background, which means you're often treated to a lovely soundtrack to your browsing too.

I have a guitar that Matthew Long the owner probably sold when he worked for Axe Music. Same road, different premises I believe. 1983 JV Precision Squier, Still an awesome bass.
