Brushstrokes Courses

Excellent classes. I'm now hooked and keep signing up for more. Laura is an excellent teacher - I've left most classes feeling astonished with the piece created under her guidance. It's been fun and satisfying learning new techniques with different mediums. I'd recommend her classes to anyone.

A wonderful course with very helpful and encouraging instruction from Laura. Learnt so much and gained valuable experience of different ways of working using various materials.

Although i missed a couple of weeks due to health issues the course was refreshingly different and Laura had words of encouragement for everyone. At the end of the session i felt i had improved my own abilities and am looking forward to re-joining the group next time.

After not having picked up a paintbrush for 17 years, Laura’s landscape painting course gave me the confidence to pursue a new hobby that I’m finding both enjoyable and fulfilling. A well organised course covering a range of media and techniques. The human form made an valuable subject for the 12 weeks. The presentation style was clear and enjoyable.

The courses are professionally planned and wide ranging. Laura delivers the content with expert skill and with due consideration for all levels of skill and confidence. There is step by step and video support material for all stages of the courses and ample opportunities for 1:1 or group seminar discussion and feedback.

I have now completed several courses with Laura and am amazed at the progress she has encouraged in my art work. I would highly recommend Brushstokes online courses to everyone!

This year I did my second course with Laura and I enjoy them more and more as they come! Laura is an excellent teacher that makes the courses so pleasant and at the same time great learning experiences. I also really enjoy that she helps us reach a sense of achievement by completing our own first pieces. I can definitely tell how much I have improved in confidence with just two courses. Laura is also very knowledgeable and makes the sessions a lot of fun, she is very helpful and she manages to cater for all our needs and she seems to always know what we will ask next or what we need. Whether you already like art or not, I would very much recommend you to try out a Brushstrokes course... if not for harnessing your art skills, it will be to have a relaxing evening with lovely people!
