SAILABILTY at the Whitefriars Sailing Club gives access to the sailing experience to guys & girls of all levels of ability. People being able to enjoy & get out on the water in a safe environment and this is allot to be said in our current times ! With friendly & experienced volunteers on hand. Worth a visit.

I went to a sailability session at the club. Lovely club with lovely people. The lake is beautiful with normal windshifts for inland water, so always keeping the sailing sharp.

Whitefriars Sailing Club
A lovely, friendly club. Everyone is very welcoming and always keen to help. Lots of opportunities for training, racing or relaxed sailing. Amazing junior section with lots of happy kids. Lots of various events for club members to join and have fun. The club has club boats that anyone can hire, if one hasn't got a boat. Camping field on site for anyone who likes camping. Wind can be a bit shifty but that's what makes you a better sailor as you constantly need to be aware where the wind is coming from.

I went there last week with my daughter and granddaughter's absolutely brilliant the volunteers and staff was so welcoming one granddaughter has special needs she enjoyed every minute of it I would recommend it for any age group or disabilities.

Despite the difficulties this year - the club has stayed proactive and has maintained its really welcoming and friendly approach to everyone. It is planning ahead to make sure we can all enjoy the beautiful lake and facilities as soon as possible! Highly recommended Club.
