Lovely little gem. If you are into knitting or felting, this a great place to go. The lady that attended me (Beverly) was very kind, looking for other wools for me in the stockroom and other ladies were chatting and knitting there on Sunday. I think you can have a tea or coffee and join them if you want.

Lovely friendly staff, full of good advice and selling interesting and environmentally-friendly wool and yarn. I'm definitely visiting again! (Update because Google asked for one - still just as lovely!) Kim is a brilliant teacher if you want to get into wooly crafts and the Sunday afternoon knitting group is a lovely group of people.

I discovered this lovely shop yesterday during their Knitting class for beginners. The owner Kim is lovely and a very good teacher, she takes time to look at the work in progress, helps with the little mistakes so that we can handle them by ourselves afterwards, and gives all the information on yarns, vocabulary, etc. that helps getting started and feeling confident in knitting! Would definitely recommend it!

What a lovely place! We came here for my wife to browse for wool. I ended up sitting down chatting to a really interesting group of ladies who congregate here every Sunday. There were lovely and really happy to chat about their projects and share their knowledge, what an unexpected find!

Popped in for the first time and the staff were absolutely lovely, the range of yarns was fab - if you're looking for somewhere with indie yarns, different yarns, or anything other than the mass produced stuff, this shop is perfect.

Really good quality, local wool with the fewest air miles possible. Great selection of high end yarn, often by very small makers. This shop is PACKED - don't miss it! And the people who work there are incredibly helpful as well as lovely to chat to! Definitely recommend this wool shop - also has buttons, patterns, needles and hooks etc

Staff are always very friendly and willing to help you find the perfect yarn or notions for your next project. I love the range of recycled yarn made by Kim and how the values of shopping as locally, ethically and eco-friendly as possible are evident through the whole shop and product ranges.
