Stagecoach Performing Arts Huddersfield and Holmfirth

What can I say about the Stagecoach Team? They are utterly amazing. They provide so much support and encouragement to my son and he thoroughly enjoys every single session. He's made some amazing friends and they cheer each other on at every performance. I wholeheartedly recommend Stagecoach if your child, likes singing, acting or dancing. They seem to be able to get the best out of every individual child and help them shine!

My 4 year old came for a holiday workshop. I was more nervous than her but she had a wonderful time and made new friends, young and old. There was a problem with the location through no fault of Stagecoach but they managed it great and provided transport for the children. She had so much fun and loved the show as did I. The teachers all seem wonderful and you can tell the children love them. Iv had to sign my girl up for weekly classes coz she enjoyed herself so much, that and she was born to perform. A month later she is still recreating the show at least weekly.

My daughters have been doing Huddersfield Stagecoach for a number of years and the transformation from shy little girls to confident leading ladies has been incredible. Stagecoach is the activity they both look forward to each week - stretching them while supporting their development. The teachers genuinely care and share in the children’s successes and the girls have made friends for life within their groups.

Our daughter has been part of Stagecoach since she first attended a workshop at age 6. She has loved every minute, had so many fantastic opportunities and has made lifelong friends as a result. Stagecoach has really helped her with public speaking and developing her creativity and these and are fantastic skills for the future.We cannot speak highly enough about Stagecoach. The staff have been fantastic, really dedicated and passionate about bringing out the best in the children and young people.We know that we and our daughter will really miss them as she goes to University this year but we have so many fantastic memories over years to treasure. My children have attended Stagecoach Huddersfield for six years. It is a joy to watch them develop their musical theatre skills but moreover make friends and develop confidence. I have been particularly impressed at how staff have identified my children's individual skills and encouraged them to make progress accordingly, always with a great deal of fun along the way.The holiday workshops have become a staple part of our holiday routine. From the buzz of Monday casting through to Friday performance day, we love that they return happy and tired every teatime, having had a fun, creative and challenging day.

My daughter attended Stagecoach, Huddersfield (Saturday morning classes) for 6 years, and only stopped because she had to, age 18! She looked forward to every single class and show, and has developed into an amazing performer, making treasured memories along the way.All teaching staff are friendly, talented, and work so hard. They are clearly dedicated to their job, and create an environment that is passionate and encouraging, and of course disciplined and fair.Further Stages projects are mature and professional, as they should be, and the older students are model behaviours to the younger ones. Liam, the Further Stages manager and teacher, is an absolute star and a wonderful asset to the school.Holiday workshops result in amazing performances with impressive production detail - so much is achieved in a short space of time.The end of term showcases are a joyto watch and always professional. Students are happy, proud, and completely engaged.There are also opportunities to perform in external theatres (a wonderful experience) and to complete graded LAMDA exams and the Further Stages+ qualification.I would not hesitate in recommending Stagecoach Huddersfield to anyone.

Our daughter has been part of Stagecoach since she was 4, and now has her 8 year award! She has loved every session, performance and holiday workshop she has been to. Her teachers have challenged and encouraged her to learn & grow so much, and this has been so clear to see in the roles she has been given for shows. Performing to a packed Lawrence Batley Theatre have been some of the highlights, as well as the recent demo sessions, getting to see the technical work that goes on in lessons. To have Stagecoach as a weekly theme in her childhood has been, and will continue to be really vital to her, giving her solid life-skills as well as love for performing arts to take into her future.

I have 2 children, aged 5 and 8 and they both love Stagecoach…so much so that it’s the highlight of their week! The staff are fantastic and have the best interests of all children there.My 5 year old has little speech and language but he’s come on so much since he joined a year ago by gaining so much confidence. He comes out of his 90 minute class with a huge smile on his face.Both my children are getting so much out of Stagecoach for different reasons and I would recommend Stagecoach Huddersfield to anyone.My 8 year old daughter has been going to Stagecoach since she was 4 and has made fantastic friends for life. She loves the 3 hour weekly class on a Saturday morning with classes for drama, singing and acting. All the teachers are fab!Another highlight is the holiday workshops held during the Summer Holidays, amazing what they learn in such a short time to put on a full musical performance!For the few occasions we’ve had to miss a Saturday class, our children aren’t happy to the extent that holidays are planned around Stagecoach so they attend!As parents we are thrilled to see both our children having so much fun at Stagecoach and their growth and development has been impressive. We really appreciate the positive environment that encourages their love for performing!

Our daughters (8 and 12) have been going to Stagecoach Huddersfield for 5 and 8 years respectively which in itself I think shows how much they love it!!! I cannot speak highly enough about the whole school. The teaching is of a very highly standard, the care and dedication they show to my girls is outstanding and the huge number of life skills as well as stage skills that they have learnt over the years will set them up forever. Their self confidence has grown enormously and they love of being on stage and performing. They have made so many new friends and have had unique experiences like performing in Blackpool and on the West End. I cannot thank Stagecoach Huddersfield enough for all they do and would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Our 9 year old son has been a member of Stagecoach Huddersfield for the last 4 years and he LOVES it. It’s the perfect outlet for his creativity! He’s also done a number of the holiday workshops over that time and just enjoys them so much. He gets to spend time with his regular Stagecoach buddies but also make new friends for the week as well. All of the kids work so hard and the teachers are all wonderfully supportive. As parents, we love coming to the shows and seeing what they have achieved in such a short amount of time. It’s always amazing!
