Weymouth Portland Boat Trips

Awesome as usual, was hoping to show my partner the seabreakers and Portland harbour, but luckily the sea was choppy there, so done a different route, which turned out better, went out to the old cruiser off bowleaze cove, and even saw some dolphins, so we went round the cruise ship twice, which made her very happy, so win win. Everyone on the boat enjoyed it.

We had a great sail on the Susan Jane in late Aug. We were wandering along the jetty and came upon the crew who were friendly and welcoming, without putting pressure on us to take a boat trip. On board the skipper/guide gave a very informative and amusing commentary throughout. In Portland harbour he spotted two dolphins and carefully approached them. They swam alongside the boat for a while and we could move around to get a good view. A little later we passed by a couple of seals. This wildlife encounter was an amazing and unexpected bonus. Great value at £15 each for an hour's trip. Overall a very enjoyable experience and recommended. Thanks, Brian & Emma.

We did a private tour with Captain Tom on the Arla Tide and we can’t recommend it enough. Tom was super helpful during all the arrangements and the tour was completely catered to us. The boat was beautiful and comfortable, and Tom shared some great facts about Weymouth and Portland. We will be back for another tour when we next have visitors.

Great boat trip. Perfect amount of info on route

Really enjoyable trip, dolphins up the Ying Yang, cruise ships and navy ships that you don't normally see in person, great accomodating boat for family and young kids. The only down fall is, I think my wife will leave me for the skipper, Tom, stupidly handsome and funny! I'd give 10 stars if I could!.

Most beautiful trip chasing seals and dolphins around Portland. So good to be away from the crowded beach for some time, interesting facts of history and landscape were shared by the staff in a fun & facts way. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a change of view and perspective and even more so for everyone who wants to see Dolphins...Chances are very high that you will! You can't really add more experiences into one hour of your holiday and with as little as 15 pounds!

This was such a memorable ride!! This was our first boat trip in the South of UK, and we loved it. Tom, our sailor, was very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He narrated the history and relevance of all the sites as we sailed past them. Afterwards he recommended a proper Portland pub for us, the view of which was absolutely heavenly. Highly recommend them and massive shout out to Tom!

Fabulous little cruise, driver was lovely and well detailed tour.

Decent little cruise this. Lasts about an hour and costs £15 an adult and £10 per child. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on the area. There is loads to see. It was a little bit choppy but the sun was out. Lovely
