I popped into CK Carpets to check out laminate flooring and spoke with the proprietor who gave great advice about the pros and cons of different types of laminate flooring (and manufactures), as well as things to consider especially with regards to installing laminate flooring in an apartment. So happy with our new carpet!It was a joy to work with CK carpets from start to finish. After a quick phone call, I was able to view the carpets in their shop (Covid rules allowed this at the time). Richard is very knowledgeable and gave us invaluable advice as to what carpet would suit the area best.After a quick appointment to measure up and discuss finishing touches, we scheduled a time for the fitters to come. The workmanship is excellent, considering the tricky area they had to work around!I was very happy to support a local company, who were able to offer a competitive price and second to none customer service!

CK Carpets fitted amtico flooring in our kitchen and study. They did a brilliant job and we are so pleased with our new floors. Richard was very patient and helpful with the preparation of our existing floor and Tony did a fantastic job with the fitting ☺️

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Spoke with Chris who was able to impart some of his considerable experience. We didn't choose/buy a carpet on this visit because it is necessary for us to rethink just what we want. I quite expect to visit again and will likely buy some carpet. As I said I didn't buy this time but did compare a like for like carpet we had seen elsewhere and CK Carpet were almost £20 per square metre cheaper!! In my opinion worth considering. Update: We choose a patterned carpet, not the most popular these days, but C K Carpets had as good a choice as anywhere we looked. It was measured and fitted last week by David and Sean, both very pleasant to deal with and very careful they were too. The carpet had to come through a room just recently painted which they negotiated with ease and no damage at all. It was expensive for a small area but following Chris' recommendation we bought a different type of underlay (felt and rubber crumb I believe) and it is really very good to walk on. Altogether and very easy transaction and I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and his team at C K Carpets. I will definitely be revisiting next year!

Visited C K Carpets in July for a small hall, stairs and landing carpet, found exactly what I wanted. It was measured and fitted in about three weeks. Carpet fitters arrived promptly on the day. They were cheerful and professional, did a great job. Pleased with the finish.Also liked the fact I could browse the shop without having somebody hovering around me. There was no pressure to make my mind up quickly at the same time any help I did require there was somebody to help me.

I found this little gem of a company after reading google reviews. The level of service provided from our initial visit to their shop in Selsdon and meeting the very knowledgeable Claire and Richard through to the fitting by David was faultless. So pleased with my new carpet. I will be back to use their services again

Having had a bad experience with Carpet Right, I was advised by a friend to go to CK Carpets as we needed Carpet for the stairs and landing. We saw Richard and Claire who suggested various options and advised us of the best type of Carpet for quality and use.We placed an order and when ready we had it fitted by Dave who was excellent and professional in the fitting and tidying afterwards.I can only say that CK Carpets are an excellent family business and will be using them when required in the future.Kenn Rosser

Used CK Carpets for the first time, a warm welcome from Karen who advised us on the correct carpet in the shop, followed by a helpful guy who came to measure up, Chris dealt with planning of the fitting. The fitting was excellent and looks lovely. All was ordered measured and fitted in under 2 weeks, a good price for a good quality carpet. A great service from a professional team. Well done CKC.
