Bowles

As a youth work that has been lucky enough to use this centre every year for the last 8 year, what can I say. Staff are great and well always meet the needs of the group, they interact well with staff and young people alike. The food is good and you will definitely not go hungry. The activities on offer are many and the centre staff will Always go out of they way to ensure everyone is having a good time and being safe. My high light is always our river trip!

Cannot fault Bowles for a most amazing rock climbing birthday party recently. The instructor was superb with the boys, most of whom thought it was going to be an indoor climbing wall so to be on real rock faces was a first for all of them. They had the most wonderful time and use of the cabin afterwards for food and refreshments was perfect (clean, tidy, and spacious). A special thank you must go to the admin team who dealt with an issue with the booking that meant all went to plan on the day. They went above and beyond to make the session happen. Thank you to all. The boys thought it was the best party event ever! Well done Bowles.

Great facility! Staff and management have always been really supportive of allowing access to the rocks for the climbing community. With a short walk in, well kept toilets and easy to navigate routes and setups, Bowles is an ideal venue for those wanting to transition into outdoor climbing.My son also attended a residential trip and came back buzzing and full of confidence through what he had achieved! Top marks both as a climber and a parent!

My daughter and son did a 3 day and 1 week course this summer. It was a much needed dose of normality. The staff were fantastic, very caring and kind. Each day they would tell me excitedly what activities they had done. I can't recommend them enough. It's brilliant value for money, when you consider the activities and experience that's required of the team leaders.Please do it next year!

Food wasn’t nice but they do cater for dietary requirements. Activities were good though.

My son had a fantastic two days at Bowles this week. Skiing for the first time, sledging,high and low ropes,bush craft and archery. He loved his instructor Robyn. Fantastic team, fantastic venue.Had one happy,muddy,tired boy. Well done Bowles

Very rarely write reviews, but had such a great time at Bowles climbing today I felt I had too. Two kids (12 + 10) absolutely loved their session. Instructor was knowledgeable and reassuring as they had never climbed outdoors before. Both learned loads and really enjoyed the experience. Will definitely go back.
