Andy was great — we left our car at Port Isaac to walk along the coast to Trebarwith. He collected us there at the exact time we’d agreed and dropped us back at the car. Very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly driver with lots of entertaining stories along the trip. Also a very good tour guide.

Andy at Avida Taxis was our knight in shining armour after our recent trip to North Cornwall started with a puncture. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere and whilst AA had arranged for a local garage to come out and recover our car they hadn’t accounted for recovery of myself, husband and our 4 & 5 year old boys. We phoned round numerous taxi firms in the area, many didn’t answer, others were unable to come out to us or refused to on a Sunday. By chance we came across a number for Avida Taxis and Andy came to our rescue and took us back to our holiday accommodation near Tintagel. He was the nicest easy going taxi driver we’d ever met. He was very knowledgeable on the local area and even recommended a lovely local pub for us to eat at. When the car was finally ready to be collected we contacted Avida taxis and he dropped us off at the garage. Highly recommend this company, highly professional, reliable and friendly. We added his card to the notice board at our holiday home. They will definitely be the first firm we turn to should we need a taxi in North Cornwall again. If it hadn’t have been for Avida Taxis I don’t know how we would have got back to our accommodation, pretty scary experience with two small children. Thank you Andy x
