With a complex funeral to arrange, involving a family member in the south of England, Anne Bell and the whole team provided a superb seamless, service all the way through, and we cannot conceive in any way in which it could have been better. With sensitive and meticulous attention to every detail, our initial thoughts about all that required to be attended to were soon dispelled, as all the necessary contacts were made for us, and the whole experience could not have been made easier for us.

The family and myself were treated with the utmost consideration care and sympathy. The professionalism of Mrs Bell was 1st class. All the staff went the extra mile to make this painful experience easier for us all. It went without a hitch and the staff can be commended for their sympathy and understanding. Thank you everyone at Jonathan Harvey for making the hardest thing I have ever had to do easier.

The attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our family's requests for our father's funeral were very helpful. All the people with whom we had contact were considerate and left no question unanswered. Everything was done with consideration and professionalism, and that alone is the supreme recommendation.

Always judge a business on how they resolve problems, rather than how they created, and for Jonathan Harvey’s Bearsden Manager - Mr John Boyle, he deserves 6 stars rather than the 5 I am allowed to provide! Our initial introduction to Jonathan Harvey’s Bearsden was not plain sailing from the start, we suspected a few problems raised due to the overwhelming Covid 19 pandemic, it is understandable all businesses are under pressure, and we will all agree Funeral Directors sadly had the worst of all tasks dealing with the fatalities. Whilst Jonathan Harvey’s Bearsden was grappling with the epic and overwhelming surge in business, errors were made with my grandmothers funeral arrangements, lack of communication and overlooked admin, however when the matter was reported to the manager John Boyle, all the issues were resolved to the very highest standards in a genuine and dignified customer care approach. John with a rare gift of what can only be described as an outstanding management style that can not be taught, but rather engrained into ones DNA, resolved the matter with utmost respect, integrity and professionalism. I seldom cross paths with people who genuinely have the ability to put their hands up when mistakes are made, and work hard towards a positive solution resulting in a highly successful outcome. I absolutely recommend Jonathan Harvey’s, we all humans and mistakes are made, but when a business has management such as John, you are guaranteed an honest and professional approach to issues knowing they take matters very seriously. With the loss of my Gran on the 02 May 2020, and my family still dealing with the grief, I want to thank John and Jonathan Harvey’s again for in the end such a positive outcome full of genuine empathy, we will as a family always recommend Jonathan Harvey’s.
