Mollie had pulled a crucial ligament in her back leg the way she was holding her leg out and not putting any weight on it was not good she could hardly stand on it we took her to the vets who we asked if hydrotherapy would be good for her being at Hucknall was quite local so we took her to the hydrotherapy unit and the change is brilliant within a month of therapy she was starting to put weight back on her leg she goes once a week and the therapist really knows what he's doing and how to treat her she looks forward to going

Decided to bring my dog here after he was recuperating from cruciate ligament surgery. You have to get a vet's referral before they will treat your dog so that's worth remembering.Treatment consists of your dog swimming in a purpose built pool that is fitted with water jets that can be used in later sessions to build up resistance as your dog gets stronger. Time in the pool is slowly increased over a number of sessions, meaning your dog is never over tasked and never made to do exercise beyond its capabilities. After exercise, your dog is taken to a warm jacuzzi pool to ease down and relax its muscles. Even extra large dogs are catered for with an electronic winch. They maintain continually updated records of your dog's treatment so they can assess the progress that is being made at any moment in time.Your dog is never left alone at any time, in or out of the water, so the safety of your dog is never an issue. It's privately owned and run by Steve and Amanda (with help from Assistant Hailey), and they are fantastic at what they do. My dog loves going and always rushes up to greet Steve. Frightened and scared dogs don't do that! I can't recommend this establishment highly enough.

Dooley has been for 3 sessions now. Steve is very patient with him. I definitely recommend taking your dog if they have issues like mine - hip dysplasia.

Loverly staff that help to understand your dogs needs. Steve very patient and easy to talk to about any concerns you might have and will take on board how to address the problem and to help. The Hydrotherapy pool has helped my dog Rocky with his constant licking of his front paws to relax more, and to settle in to his new home after being rehomed by us thank you everyone.

Lovely place, the staff really care for dogs and are extremely helpful and friendly. Riley was a bit sheepish at first, but loves coming here now. He particularly enjoys his jacuzzi!
