Blue Oak Bistro
Having first trying sushi in Canada we have been looking for somewhere to continue our adventure into Japanese cuisine. Having read the reviews we decide to give the Blue Oak Bistro a try and I am pleased to say that it lived up to the 5 star reviews. Everything we had was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, we will definitely be back.

I have always wanted a Japanese food place in Blackburn and we finally have one and I am so happy!! The food is delicious, prepared well and you get generous portions! Always delivered with a smile and never fails to put a smile on our face when we’re eating! I recommend the tonkotsu ramen!!! It tastes exactly like ramen from Japan (which we’ve not been able to go back to due to the pandemic so this is a good substitute until we can return!!) I could go on more about how you should try this place out and compliment the heck out of it but you should see for yourself :) you won’t regret it!!!

This is the second time we have tried sushi from here and it has been fresh and delicious. Really pleased to see somewhere local offering fresh sushi and we hope the business continues to do well. We will definitely be ordering again.

Despite never finding sushi locally i finally found my go to place. The best and freshest sushi iv ever had. Service was amazing. Was so patient with my indecisive self and so friendly. Also delivers! Will deffo recommend.

They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your food, even acknowledging every note you leave for the food items by taking out avocado which I don’t like so I can still enjoy the sushi. The food is also amazing and would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing food and great service. The standard of Gluten Free knowledge and awareness was fantastic. They were able to adapt the serving platters to make fully gluten free, and followed up after delivery to check everything was ok.
