Hendy Land Rover

As our family has grown we recently decided to change our Audi Q5 to an SUV with 7 seats. Unfortunately we fell for the superficial charms of Christchurch Land Rover and bought a Discovery Sport. We were mislead on the service history of the vehicle and they hid damage. Customer service is nonexistent and they have little confidence in their own brand. Please don’t make the same mistake as us, we changed to an Audi Q7 not only a proper quality brand, offer loads of guarantees for trouble free motoring.

Thank you Jim Wood and the team for making my car handover super special from start to finish! My bouquet of flowers was a special touch too. Preparation team did an amazing job cleaning the car like new. My new Evoque is stunning. I will highly recommend this dealership.

Worst experience ever buying a car. The car was £120k. The 1st one had to be returned as misled given the car had a large gap in service history. 2nd car is fantastic and what we had hoped for.The experience between was awful. Only took action when threatened with Small Claims Court action. The only consistent thing they all do including the general manager is ignore you and treat you as valueless. And they struggle so much to say sorry.Urge find another dealer one who actually cares.Can only talk as a buyer and not a service client.

Recently purchased an F Pace from Hendy’s through Mark Baker. He was very polite and thorough with the information regarding the vehicle chosen. We negotiated a price that I was happy with with no pushiness or pressure. On car collection day all details of the car was explained and demonstrated. I have come away a very happy customer and a fantastic car.When it’s time to change I would have no hesitation going back.

Wanted to update my freelander .met a salesman called Russell nothing was to much trouble & spent plenty of time with me . In the end I purchased a used discovery sport which was delivered on agreed date . All in all a great experience

Reserved a car online in the evening and got a phone call of Anthony the following morning. Very nice guy who made sure everything I needed was sorted, promptly sent me videos and pictures of the car and once I had all the info I needed I decided to move forward on the vehicle. We settled for a Saturday pick up and had no issues with it, Anthony made sure everything was done on time and collected the vehicle with no issues. Gave me a good price for my previous vehicle and took that from me hassle free. All in all the service has been fantastic, zero complaints and if it wasn't 5 hours drive I would use this garage for my servicing needs, I also think the £99 refundable reservation fee is a great idea, gives you total peace of mind that the cars off sale while you get everything sorted in the background. Thanks again Anthony the cars an absolute beast!

A cracking visit with my son who has owned several Range Rovers and was introducing me to the various models - all hugely impressive.The receptionist was especially welcoming and I really appreciated that. All too often in the showrooms of other upmarket brands potential customers can be ignored, something I regard as inexcusably rude.The sales staff were on hand if needed but they just let my son show me round and didn't fuss. Again, I appreciate that because my usual response to uninvited attention is to leave. If I need help I'll ask!So, a dealership visit to remember. That's the first essential step towards being a customer!

Well, what can I say about my first experience with Hendy Land Rover in Christchurch apart from ''Thank you, you were fantastic''.After being greeted by a lovely lady on reception I was introduced to our sales advisor (Russell Corless) who could not have been more helpful & professional. Russell helped me through what I thought I wanted to what I ACTUALLY wanted which was my first Range Rover (Velar).Russell was so helpful and made every part of the process very straight forward and enjoyable for myself, my wife & my two children (all part of the buying decision team).The hand over was superb, thoroughly enjoyable and informative (quite theatrical). We were guided through everything at our pace, we didn't feel hurried at all.I would 100% recommend Russell & Hendy's to anyone and I hope to be back within the next two years to change vehicles again.

Friendly helpful service from start to finish, Discovery has been great BUT garbage after sales, ordered a boot liner, 6 months later and still no phone call to say it has arrived,EVEN worse getting email messages to say jeep is due a service and it's only 6 months old and 2 year service intervals, phoned and they said it was an error that would be corrected but 1 month later the email messages to go for a service have returned. And dispite contacting them I'm still getting reminders that my service is overdue.

Fantastic experience collecting this beautiful car from Hendy Christchurch. Definitely recommend purchasing a Evoque from this dealer.
