St Julian's Church Wellow

visited on a Friday afternoon ... sadly it was locked so just had a walk round the outside would love to have had a look inside :(

Great of old church, top quality spire, liked the altar (decent altar, top three id say, could do with a bit more razmataz)Atmosphere is quite humid/electric?In conclusion, very nice of old church.

Very nice old church at one end of Wellow and by the schoolI have visited it on several occasions (the porch on a wet day and had lunch, sitting outside on a nice sunny day)The clock chimes during the day every 1/4 hour which is always nice to hear (though presumably recorded, but not too sure) and can be heard some distance awayThe church is also very prominent and can be a good focal point as you walk into and out of Wellow
