An amazing team! made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the full session. Gareth gave great direction and created a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

My friend and I had a joint headshot session and the whole session was a blast. Lizzie and Gareth were both really friendly and welcoming and they had an adorable dog. The makeup was grate, just the right amount and not over the top. Lizzie was quite good at talking to people and putting them at ease. Furthermore, Gareth's was grate at putting a smile on people face, with the awesome magic ticks. The set up was quite professional and very equipped. They had lights boxes and reflection panels, backdrops and so many other things that I couldn't name. We had choice of 10 outfits and we photographed about 7 of them. So a wide variety to choose from. We also, did photos in different angles and with both my hair up and down. Furthermore, the room was quite spacious and didn't feel claustrophobic. Overall it was totally worth the 1 hour trip to Cambridge.

I recently came to Franklin and Bailey’s Headshot Workshop and cannot recommend Gareth as a teacher enough! His dedication to his craft is awe inspiring and he led the workshop with clarity and confidence. Essential skills for any portrait photographer wanting to expand their repertoire and have a fun day shooting with other photographers!

Cannot recommend Franklin & Bailey enough! I’m quite nervous when getting my headshots done, but Gareth made me feel 100% comfortable and 100% confident the entire time!! I never really know how to pose/what to do, but Gareth directed me the entire time it was extremely helpful and by the end i felt like i knew exactly what i was doing. Gareth also suggested which tops to use first with which background, again, extremely helpful. All of the pictures were amazing it was so hard to choose! I will definitely be back when i need them updating, it was an amazing day :)

I had the most fantastic experience with Franklin & Bailey Photography when I recently booked in for a 3hr session, which also included some time with their lovely MUA. I instantly felt at ease due to their relaxed conversational nature, and felt in very safe hands whilst my face was being painted, an experience I've never had before yet thoroughly enjoyed! During the photography session itself, I felt very encouraged, with constant words of positivity to bring out my most confident self. After the session, my photos were uploaded to my online profile incredibly quickly, and I was later sent a video explaining the edits that had taken place on the photos I'd asked to be retouched. These little extras made the whole experience for me - highly recommend!!

Learned a huge amount at Gareth's headshots workshop yesterday. Really practical and well delivered in a fun, friendly, informal way and Gareth was generous with his business knowledge too. Great way to learn from someone who knows what it takes to run a successful high volume headshots business that still delivers creative and high quality work. Really grateful and highly recommend this enjoyable day!

Had a fantastic day with Gareth and Lizzi yesterday as part of a small group learning all about headshots, lighting and business. Absolutely worth the visit - plenty of useful information to take in, that I can’t wait to apply to my own work. Everything was taught in a hands-on, understandable way, with plenty of time to practice as we went along. A workshop I would do again and again - definitely book if you get the chance!

Gareth led a brilliant lighting workshop for myself and the other photographers involved. We covered multiple set ups with so much detail, and always had time to explore and shoot the set up ourselves which meant my grasp of how to put them into my own work has become so much stronger than if I’d just been watching a demo.Gareth’s knowledge is so spot on and he has a really clear way of delivering the information he’s providing.If you’re a photographer looking to level up your studio lighting skill set or someone looking to move into headshot photography this day will be so helpful for you. Can’t recommend enough!

Gareth, the photographer, and Lizzie the make-up artist were an amazing team. Honestly, my favourite headshot experience so far. The moment they picked me up from Cambridge North station, all the way until the end, was full of fun, professionalism, kindness and also an energy which I felt at ease and relaxed. I felt cared for, appreciated, respected, and it was truly a golden experience. I was reassured throughout, and the headshot photos that came out were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Cheers guys :)
