Stuning! When walking the field, enjoying the view and the peaceful surroundings, the windmill just emerges from behind some bushes.Do not miss it.It's just 20' away from Brighton Town Centre.

Nice pleasant walk on the edge of town. Popular with dogs owners. Cross over dyke road and walk through to Hove park.

A great place for family walks, dog walking with amazing views of Brighton and the South Downs. If you walk upto the Windmill, there is an exit that takes you towards the public footpath into the South Downs. If you come by car there is a car park just before the exit from Dyke Road (Hilltop Cafe). You can park for upto an hour.

We saw this wonderful white windmill and lots of sheepies. There were five brown sheepies too. Then we met a dog walker who spoke to us for about half an hour about dogs. It was very pleasant. A bit sludgy in places so it might be a good idea to wear hiking boots. There’s also an electric fence around the sheep, so don’t touch it. We also saw a bin specifically for poo bags and a bench which was sadly broken but could easily be fixed.

Good place to walk. Not really a destination, more a nice place to stop off on your way through. Good views. Windmill a place of residence so can't explore...

Fab walk with our doggies, would be even more amazing if the council would put proper low gates on all the entrances so dogs couldn't get through/ under them

I walk my spaniel here at least twice a week. It's a lovely spot with an adjacent wood. A full circuit, including the wood, is a about 60 minute walk. Lots of walkers but it's never crowded. The council put sheep here from November to February but they're fenced off and there's always plenty of space away from the flock to let your dog off the lead. Thoroughly recommended.
