I recently retired and was given 2 places on the wine appreciation course. My neighbour Terry and myself both like a glass of wine and had a very basic knowledge.We attended the course which was extremely informative. We learned about types of wine, grapes, where they originate etc and also tasted 6 top class wines throughout the day.There is an 'exam' at the end oif the day, but it wasn't too tasking, with 10 questions based on what we learned during the day. Don't let the exam put you off attending.Tavi is very friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed so we felt at home right from the start.If youre undecided whether to attend, book it. its a great day out.

The whole course was really well organised, covid friendly, the resources perfect and I have come away knowing so much more about wine. Although when I was telling a friend afterwards about my day she did say that I did not need to go on a course to appreciate wine I already did that well!!

Great wine tasting event held by Tavi. So informative, fun and interesting and included a wonderful selection of wines. All questions were answered and a lovely friendly atmosphere contributed to a very enjoyable evening.Cant wait for the next one!
