Richard created a space that felt safe, non-judgmental, comfortable, and tailored to us as individuals. It's hard to put into words the depth of what I learnt about myself and my wife through working with Richard - we explored our patterns of behaviour, triggers, how these are rooted in shared and separate experiences, and how we can best communicate and support ourselves and each other. Richard was recommended to me by another therapist to help my partner and I with our relationship difficulties. Through his skills and experience he helped us see the patterns we were repeating which were keeping us stuck. He was brilliant at holding the space for us both to speak and be heard. He didn't take sides or judge either of us so we both felt free to express ourselves. He also suggested a book for me to read which really helped me see my part in the difficulties. The relationship work my husband and I have done together with Richard Cole over the past year and a half has been transformational.
