Dalavich Social Club

Never actually went into the social club, but it will be inline with the rest of the place. Well kept, very friendly, and well.........Brilliant Brilliant Briliant.I hired a boat for half a day and it was the best thing I've done for a long time. There's an old Historic castle you can go and see but need the boat to access as it's on an island. Also a protected Ospreys nest but do NOT go on Island and keep distance in boat but a must see.Ehhhhh. Could go on and on about this place. Anyone that knows me will know my heart is in loch Lomond. But this is such a close second. Loch Awe is more raw, very isolated and in my opinion typically evokes the feeling of a true Scottish loch. Rather than the more touristy local to the city, Loch Lomond.The water is so clean in Loch Awe I just had to go swimming with my other half. it was so refreshing on a 24 degree day. And very private little bit I grounded the boat on a sandy bit. Keep it away from any rocks and always lift the engine up and oar to the shore or it will be a long row back to the jetty at home time!!!!!!Simply wonderful..Loch awe side marina.That's the name of the boat hire place. Ask for Tam. Very friendly knowedgable guy and his wife. They know the place inside out and will talk you through the safety side. Give you life jackets etc.Must do/see.

Such a great experience in a beautiful somewhat remote area of Scotland! The most friendliest hosts, and good bar and kitchen staff. Big shout out to Chris (from the kitchen staff), and owners for a clean and great experience. I will definitely be returning!

Stayed locally and visited here for a drink or 2. Great place and lovely girl behind the bar. Pool table and roaring fire today which was brilliant after a rainy day. Check opening times but currently 6-11 most days. Great place

Very peaceful place with nice cabins, bar with pool table etc. All public facilities in good shape.

Friendly bar and cafe , run by the local community, excellent.

Food was amazing..party of 4 2 x kids 2 adults 1x vege...lovely meal, went for my sons birthday and he had a free ice cream. Staff were great & lovely community friendly facilities, highly recommended
