Mac and his team were reasonably priced, reliable and completed the work to an excellent standard within the timescale promised and the price quoted. Mac’s expert knowledge, skill and clear passion for trees meant that we were able to save much more of our British Elm than we had dared hope - we highly recommend Darwin tree services and they are used by many of our neighbours too. Mac & the Team could not have been more hardworking, friendly, polite & professional.From start to finish they felled the 2 Tall trees and removed the debris efficiently.The team new exactly what each person’s role was and so you could see that this team had worked with Mac for some time.The work was during the extremely hot weather we recently had, but the team just got the work done without any complaints.My Neighbours commented on how friendly and hardworking they were. I know they will not only use Mac when they have future pruning/felling but also recommend to their friends like I will.There is not enough praise I could give them. Worth at least 5 stars!

We hired Mac and his team to remove a couple of dead cherry trees in our back garden and cut back foliage which had become overgrown during the pandemic. All the work was completed to a very high standard, in accordance with our specifications, and we are very happy with the results. The team was also prompt and courteous, and removed a large volume of debris from the site, leaving it clean and tidy. Many thanks.

We were gutted to have to have our beautiful eucalyptus tree taken down and we couldn't have asked for a better team to have done the job for us. Mac, Ben and Luke worked so hard, cleared up beautifully and were lovely to have around. Mac has also given us some excellent advice about what tree to plant next. He is a wealth of knowledge. 100% recommend Mac and Elliot, who did a great job reducing a large and very old pear tree, thinning an unruly apple tree, a wild plum, mulberry, cherry, cedar and silver birch. They also trimmed a pyracantha, hawthorn and wayward wisteria. Mac supplied a detailed quote, arrived on time and worked really efficiently. Thanks to their knowledge and skill, the trees are now in great shape, much less congested, and the garden is filled with light. True professionals, they left the garden tidy and are lovely chaps.

Great service from Mac, Ben and the team. Very thoughtful about the tree work requirements and responded promptly to communications. The recent work was done on time and the tree they did a crown reduction on a few years ago has grown back into a great shape again - a skilled team. We have used Darwin several times and highly recommend Mac and his team. They are knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and trusted. They take the time to do the job the right way with care and fully explain their process. What impresses us most is the passion for the plants themselves. Mac has helped us with shaping London planes and thinning protected oaks as well as sourcing and planting various other trees in our garden. Many services can hack tress and hedges, but finding someone who listens and has an aesthetic vision like Mac’s is rare. Every member of the team is really impressive. Our garden is thriving thanks to Darwin.
