Nice place to go to clear your mind and thoughts. Toon the kids for a walk along the beach. The videos were the day after the storm.

Although the actual prom is fairly newly done and neatly I might add , the buildings along the front look either tacky or very tired . There were some loos further along but they weren't signposted and were in a portakabin . They were clean and modern. There were plenty of bins but there was litter all along the front and dog mess . I wasn't impressed.

What an amazing place on our doorstep. Great place for families. The museum is very interesting with lots to see and learn. They have an adventure playground and a on site cafe. The woodland walk is fab and an amazing Aviary. There was only the Aviary that you need to pay for but that’s totally understandable and well worth the money. Staff are very friendly and parking is completely free.To lear

Popped down from Normanby to have a quick look at the ocean and a walk on the beach. Beach was nice and clean and sandy.Bought some ice cream from a store across the road from the vertical pier.Vertical pier was closed due to some fighting that has occurred on the top viewing platform, so that was very disappointing...

Redcar Beach is excellent. It's clean and the sea is clean. There are dog beaches also available further towards Marske.

Huge shallow beach with easy access from promenade. Had a lively paddle but not brave enough to actually swim in the cold north sea.Spotlessly clean and we had a fantastic walk and chat with locals, dogs allowed at north end.

Redcar Beach
This is only about 25 minutes from where we live. We like the beach here as when the tide is out it's pretty long and wide. Lots of little rock pools and the beach to walk the dog. Couple of amusement places and some great fish and chip shops. Behind the seafront there are lots of shops to go in if you want to. Parking is quite reasonable and can stay for a couple of hours if needed and also short stay too on the seafront itself.

Visited in mid-October on a sunny week day. We parked in the long stay car park near the golf club and stayed for 4 hours.Lovely and quiet at this time of year and great for our dog as the beach is opened fully to walk dogs from October.
