We LOVE walking our dogs here because it's given me the chance to go along too on my mobility scooter because of the fantastic path that has been laid there. Our only bug bear is the fact that 99% of cyclists that pass us never ever alert us to their presence & they zoom passed us narrowly missing our dogs, but if you point out to them that the cycle path is around the edge of Ellis Meadow, we normally get ignored or 'f' off! We need cctv, PLEASE

A lovely walk along one side of the canal, across a bridge and back along the other side of the canal. We saw lots of squirrels and a variety of birds including a heron.Mostly flat, not too taxing round trip.

I love taking my dog shady down there everyday he loves playing with his tennis ball launcher there gives him plenty off exercise aswell always make sure we bring a drink for him as he is a German shepherd and he drinks a lot I just wish people would treat the place with respect and clear up after them there are some people playing cricket someday and they never clean up there mess which is a shame its a loverly place

Litter at times spoils what this otherwise would be a lovely place to get some fresh air while walking /Dog /Running in a bit of inner city tucked out of the way natureShould be 5 star for the idea of it being there anyway but the litter prevents me doing soSuch a shame as while it's never an excuse the bins are often full

Lovely little park to take the dog for a walk or just for a daily stroll. I’ve had picnics here with my little one too. My little one and the dog really enjoy our evening walks here, sometimes we get to see the ducks too. A lot of improvements have happened here over the years and it looks so much tidier

It's small and not quite established yet for flora and fauna. But still a great green space and a very worthwhile addition to Leicester's habitat's being created along the river soar.
