Honest garage that never tries to oversell and always completes work to a high quality for a fair price. Wouldn’t trust anyone else!

A routine timing belt change was left incorrectly and dangerously tensioned. The belt sheared the engines cam whilst in the fast lane of of the M5. The damage in coasting from the fast Lane to the hard shoulder subsequently destroyed the engines internal cam.Our repair build will be in to the £1000’s, stranded 250 miles from home and as confirmed by the RAC and repairing garage the failure is absolutely down to poor workmanship on the timing belt change.We are fortunate to have got from the fast Lane to the hard shoulder as we lost the entire engine, we are fortunate that through my career in the ambulance service I am response trained on blue lights and have decent training in vehicle control, otherwise we would have undoubtedly been in a high speed collision with both our young children on board.Our repairing garage has termed the mistake as missing the fundamentals of the required, basic, safety checks prior to sending the vehicle back on the road.I am absolutely shocked at the level of in aptitude displayed.
